Never mind, I found the other 8-pin cable that would allow me to connect it to the 4-pin.

I have a gigabyte 650 gaming X AX motherboard. It has an 8 pin and 4 pin connection for CPU power. The PSU only comes with an 8 pin connector to 8 pin connector which is fine. I am having difficulties connecting to the 4 pin CPU power as the 8 pin to 6-2 cable does not fit on the 4-pin on the mother board. is this PSU compatible with the motherboard or am I missing something. if you look at the attached photo you will see I can not align the clip and the first 4 pin connection.
