  1. This sounds very much like a problem with the contact between the block and the cpu. The correct amount of thermal paste is the size of 1 or 2 grains of rice in the middle of the CPU. Thermal compound is designed to fill in the microscopic imperfections in the surfaces of the block and the CPU, if you put too much on it acts as a barrier. I use a 2 part Arctic cleaner to remove the old compound (using a paper coffee filter), although I believe that you can use Isopropyle Alcohol. I don't know how the block is installed on this cooler, but you may want to check that it's tight.
  2. Hi, this is my first post to this forum. I recently saw the Level 10 GT and now I want one, the only slight problem is that I currently have Corsair H110i GT. Is it possible to fit that into a 10 GT? I read somewhere that the front USB 3.0 socket cables have to run through the case and connect to a rear external socket, is this still the case (excuse the pun)? Thanks Edit: The H110i GT doesn't fit, but the Nepton 240L does. My Level 10 GT came with an internal USB connector. I love the case, except for the cable management and the right hand side panel, almost impossible to get off and difficult to get back on. Why not fit it with a hinge the same as the left hand panel? The cable management doesn't seem as good as my old Corsair 730T.
