Does anyone know where I can get a Black Core X-9?  So far every site that I have gone to shows it being sold out, can't even find a used one on ebay.  :( I think that the design of the Core X-9 is perfect.  Not a big fan of all the new tempered glass sided cases that  have popped up.

Why did Thermaltake discontinue these wonderful horizontal motherboard builds?

I grew tired of building computer after computer 'in a bottle'.  These cases had space to work and never stressed your risers or suffered video card sag.

Now I return to buy another x9 or x5 and I find that you (TT) have completely stopped production?  why?

The Core X Series from Intel represents a line of high-performance processors designed for enthusiasts, professionals, and content creators. These processors are part of Intel's Extreme Performance lineup and cater to demanding tasks such as video editing, 3D rendering, and gaming.

Key Features:

  1. High Core Count:

    • The Core X Series offers configurations with multiple cores (up to 18 in some models), enabling seamless multitasking and handling of heavy workloads.
  2. Overclocking Capabilities:

    • Unlocked multipliers allow users to push performance further, appealing to enthusiasts looking to maximize CPU potential.
  3. Intel Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0:

    • Enhances performance by directing the most demanding tasks to the fastest cores.
  4. Quad-Channel Memory Support:

    • Improved memory bandwidth makes it ideal for professional applications requiring high-speed data processing.
  5. PCIe Lanes:

    • High lane counts support multiple GPUs and storage devices, making the series suitable for advanced workflows.

Use Cases:

  • Content Creation: Handles rendering, video editing, and other CPU-intensive tasks with ease.
  • Gaming: While not designed specifically for gaming, its high core/thread counts can benefit gamers who also stream or create content.
  • Workstations: Excellent for professionals who rely on multi-threaded applications.

Considerations:

  • Power Consumption: The high performance comes with increased power demands and heat output, requiring robust cooling solutions.
  • Cost: These processors are more expensive than mainstream options, making them a better fit for users who need their specific capabilities.
  • Furthermore, you may check this on this Free Air Location Map.

The Core X Series is a robust choice for users seeking unparalleled performance for heavy workloads, but its premium price tag makes it more suitable for those who can fully leverage its capabilities.
