Phobia Posted April 14, 2015 Report Posted April 14, 2015 Had the keyboard for almost two weeks now after replacing the first one. Seems fine. Plasti-dipped the top cover of the keyboard in the color of the Thermaltake logo to the top right of the keyboard. Two even coats with the last one being a mixed coat immediately followed by a coat of Rust-Oleum Clear Coat to have a nice texture while getting rid of the rubber texture of the Plasti-dip. Got rid of the default ABS plastic keycaps with a thick PBT plastic keyset from Geekkeys on eBay. Don't like led lighting under the old keys nor the shiny texture. So far, loving the new custom setup on this keyboard HowardAbuh, Tte Martin and EkbergDOF 3 Quote
Guest Tt Josh Posted April 15, 2015 Report Posted April 15, 2015 Nice one Phobia! Looks like you've built yourself a POSEIDON Z SHINE! haha Quote
Phobia Posted April 16, 2015 Author Report Posted April 16, 2015 Pictures of the keyboard with the stock keycaps for those who are contempt with them. Looks nice but I really didn't like the led being bright around the edges of the keysets. Too much contrast. Quote
