How to Delete the AOL account permanently

It is impossible to delete the AOL account until and unless you close the account although this might end in the loss of accessibility to each AOL service like instant messenger when the user will delete an AOL email account. Last it'll be permanently closed only after 3 months of closure and there's a chance that the user can open the account in midway before the closure. 1. go to https://myaccount.aol.com, and sign in to your AOL account.
2. Click Manage My Subscriptions at the top of the window.
3. Click the Cancel option under your account.
4. Select the explanation you're canceling, then click the Cancel AOL button.
How to delete an AOL email account on iPhone    
This tutorial was performed on iOS 7 on an iPhone 5. The steps are nearly identical for earlier versions of iOS, but the screen images will look different from your phone if you're using iOS 6.
Note that this can be not canceling your AOL email account. this can be simply removing the account and its emails from your iPhone. you'll still be able to access your AOL email from a web browser (like Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Chrome) and you'll still be able to access it from other devices. Step 1: Tap the Settings icon.
Step 2: Scroll down and choose Mail, Contacts, Calendar Options. In iOS 10, you'll be selecting an option that just says Mail.
Step 3: Select your AOL account. In iOS 10, there's an Accounts option that you just must select first before you see the full list of email accounts.
Step 4: Select the delete account button at the bottom.
Step 5: To know that you want to delete your AOL email account from your iPhone, touch the Delete from My iPhone button.
