Hello I ordered  this waterblock.  I use Linux and was hoping the ARGB header on my NZXT N7 B550 could control the RGB in  BIOS via the conversion cable.

The instructions I found online do not make it very clear if motherboard can  control it rather than the software.

Anyone know?

Edit:  Followup question - is there a default color scheme or would it just not light up at all in Linux?

I heard my RAM (corsair vengeance pro rgb) will remember settings from Windows if you dual boot and install the program on Windows.   That is an option but would rather not install Windows except in a VM.  OpenRGB does not list this device but I will try that.
