9 Riing Trio fans, 2 controllers. 1 is failing, what to do?

I built this machine a few years back: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/VsQZxr. It has a total of 12 fans. 9 are Riing Trio fans connected to 2 controllers. Recently, the Thermaltake TT RGB Plus software stopped recognizing 1 of the controllers and complains of a fan speed warning on controller 2. Now some fans run at a controlled speed, and the rest run a full speed. The pc sounds like a jet!

To be honest, I always felt this configuration was a bit overcomplicated. I want to simplify it. I want to keep the 9 fans, but figure out a single controller solution to control all 9 fans (speed & RGB).

I have checked Amazon for fan hubs. While I can find some that support up to 10 fans, I can't seem to find one that supports the correct pin configuration for these Riing Trio fans (9 pin).

Any suggestions?

Dear DinoBull,

Currently, we do not have the fan controller solution that allows you to connect the 9 Riing Trio fans together. It is recommended to go for controller RMA at this moment. https://support.thermaltake.com/RMA_Agreement.aspx

However, we are now working on the 14 port controller which comes with PCIE power input. This controller solution will resolve your problem, but it is still in development stage.

If you have any question, please let us know.

Thank you!
