Shabbyza
Make sure the paint cans are tightly sealed. Properly sealing the lids will help prevent air from getting inside the cans and causing the paint to dry out or thicken over time. Also, it's a good practice to label your paint cans with the date of purchase and the room or project they were used for. This way, you can easily identify the paint you need for touch-ups or future projects without having to open every can. I'm currently in the middle of renovating my own place, and I've found some great paints for the interior. So, storing them properly in the garage ensures they'll be ready for use when I need them.
