pittengermd Posted December 6, 2017 Report Posted December 6, 2017 Hey Guys, I purchased the thermaltake tower 900 and I am trying to install the Thermaltake Water 3.0 Riing RGB 360mm AIO cooler. I see in the manual for the tower 900 that this AIO cooler can be installed in/on the HDD cage. I was wondering how to install the AIO cooler in this specific case. Thanks. Quote
ThermalMike Posted December 7, 2017 Report Posted December 7, 2017 Hi, You would take one of the radiator brackets from the back and mount it sideways on top of the HDD tower in the front. This is only way the tube will reach the CPU properly without cutting holes. The Tower 900 is not designed for AIO unfortunately, maybe a smaller version might be suited for this, but will see Quote
BriannaJoyy Posted February 5, 2018 Report Posted February 5, 2018 Here is what it looks like with Floe Riing 360 installed ThermalMike 1 Quote
ThermalMike Posted February 8, 2018 Report Posted February 8, 2018 Yup just like that! Thanks for the picture to reference Quote
Buildaholic Posted March 29, 2024 Report Posted March 29, 2024 I made the same blunder...and thanks to your posting and pic it gave me an idea!! I removed lower cable management panel and the right side coolant pump cradle. I then mounted the AIO cooler (Thermaltake TH420 ARGB Sync) on that rear side. Granted, upside down (as good cooler installation standards go..) Currently monitoring temps before buttoning it up for good. (or removing it to sink some cash into a different cooling system!!) So far...so good!! Quote
