apple tech geek Posted December 12, 2017 Report Share Posted December 12, 2017 ive jsut got a ricer cable in the mail and mounted my asus strix 1060 verticaly but the issue is the cards doesnt get any breathing room with the plexiglass at all (instead of 50 c underload it hits 80 even 90) is there a way to *mod* the case to get airflow to the gpu i bend the gpu back a little but no help Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ThermalMike Posted December 15, 2017 Report Share Posted December 15, 2017 Hi, The Case is designed to support 2.5 spaced slot cards in width and it does come close especially with the larger coolers that are out on some GPU models. What temps are you getting with the entire panel off? How is your airflow? Maybe take a look there, not much else I could suggest besides watercooling your GPU or drilling holes in the plexi to "mod" it as you say.
