Thermaltake Pure Plus 12 not working with software

I purchased 3 sets of the 3 packs of the new Thermaltake Pure Plus fans, none of the controllers seem to be working. I've tried both usb 2.0 headers on my MB, I've tried all three hooked up and daisy chained, and I've tried them all separately with the 3 usb cables I got with each package, the fans receive power but I get no RGB and the softare give the common error code h_0x0001. The USB headers function as I've connected my Corsair AIO to both and can control it through Corsairs software. Not for sure why none of my 3 controllers are working, need help asap

EDIT: Apparently, my molex power cable from my power supply was bad
