  1. It is tricky finding a case that has it all. I did like my Thermaltake View 31, but because it broke and support doesn't want to reply, I ended up buying the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv. It's far better built, and seals the glass in, which also the Thermaltake case doesn't. It does have it's flaws. The top "filters" are similar to the Thermaltake case, maybe a lil smaller. I just used the filter from my view case to compensate. Also, the top radiator support is good, but not perfect, like the view 31 case. It's all about finding that happy medium imo. For me, with a few mods for top radiator support and ventilation, the Phanteks case is the winner. I have been using it for a few months now, and so far anyway, the dust is almost non-existant.

  2. I had the View 31. The glass broke due to the plastic that holds the glass to the frame broke and it fell to the floor. Anyway, back to it. The filters on the front and top have quite large holes, it will stop large particles, but not dust. I used it for three months and it was filthy throughout, yet the filters were not as dirty. The one on the bottom is great though.

I am noticing this same issue. What did you end up doing?

I would suggest getting air moving around the area. Place a fan in the case so it's blowing fresh air between the panel and GPU. Other than that, don't use the rise and mount the GPU normally. I know it defeats the purpose, but plastic, when it gets hot, gets soft.

  4. According to Corsair, it will fit a 360mm on the top. As for performance, these are the same manufacturer as all the others, the only difference is the badge and fans. As for it being enough, I'm not sure, all CPU's are different, it all depends on what the voltage you would need to hit 5.0Ghz.

If you want to connect it to the motherboard, you would need to check if it has a pump header, it's better to use a connector on your motherboard, as you will have PWM functionality, but it will quite happily run straight off the PSU too. Finally, I can't comment on Thermaltakes supplied thermal paste, but for around $5, you can't go far wrong with MX4.

  5. I've broken one, but luckily, I have plenty of spares. But yeah, I agree, they don't line up at all. It's very annoying and I have to tilt the case to fit it without the glass dropping. Even with that, I still find the case aesthetics very pleasing... almost. I've sticker bombed the front to hide how poo it looked. I've just purchased some CF wrap which I'm going to apply, which will make it slightly prettier. But I may visit a local fabricator and get a metal replacement. Which personally, I feel it should have always been. This case is far from cheap, and I chose this over the Phantecs Evolve and the NZXT S340 Elite. I think it was a mistake, but the selling point was a sneak peak of the show (can't remember what it was called now), showing the case with the pro RGB fans, just to find you don't get them with the case.

  6. I've been building for years too, and I find what I see now with Thermaltake is rather disappointing. More so, their support. I have messaged them for months (around 1 a month since February not including my pleas on the forums), and how many replies did I get? Not a single one? Is this really acceptable? Not really, and have decided to purchase the rest of my products from different manufacturers.

  7. Firstly, very nice setup, but yeah, I love my AMD setup, I do far more than just gaming, I stream and video edit a lot for my kids, so needed the cores. And that RAM looks lush, so jealous!

What cover is that on yours? You will have to let me know about the temp mod, I like the sound of that and would like to see how that would be done.

    So DaddyBeee,

Get your rig squared away.. fans ans all ?

It's semi-built... until Vega is out anyway, I have all the watercooling stuff ready and mostly installed.

I have added a pic, with the side off as the glass causes too much glare on my phone camera.

EDIT: And ignore the poo AM3 cooler (just what I had lying around from many moons ago and didn't want to buy another one in the short-term), that will all change when I can fit my watercooling setup.

Thanks for the feedback on the View 31, we have been getting great feedback from everyone already.

We are also just getting started with the View Series, so stay tuned for more!

Keep an eye on our LIVE Stream for Computex 2017, I think you guys will like what is coming :)

I really want the PSU shroud, is there any news about getting it in the UK, please?

  10. RAM isn't a concern at all in the View 31. The top mounting holes are offset so far, a previous builder on YT used a 60mm Radiator + fans and had no issues at all.

My concern is the EK Predator has the pump and reservoir added onto the end of the radiator, giving it added length over 360mm.

There is plenty of room, my measurements were taken incorrectly (I had my 280 rad there originally), but I do have a 360mm rad in mine atm.... how much bigger is the pump and res?

  11. I went with the non RGB View 31, ordered the Riing Plus 12's.

Now i need to find an extra fan, as Tt is not selling them in singles... Stupid if you ask me.

No one is going to buy a 3pk for 1 fan.

I wish I did too, but, what I saw in the videos at CEX this year, they showed the newer fans, not the old ones?! Grrrr thermaltake!
