    Hi All

I have a Commander chassis with a built in argb controller.  The controller has a connection to go to my motherboard ( Asus 3 pin 5 volt argb ) but it did not come with the cable.  One end will be the standard 3 pin ARGB connector, the other is a much smaller end to go into the connector on the controller itself.

Does anyone have any idea where I can get this cable?

    Hello

you should find the motherboard sync cable in the accessory bag.

Hi, I have been a Thermaltake user for a few years now but I have a question. I recently got a Thermaltake view 51 TG ARGB. I have 8 extra pure 12 argb fans and one aio pump. I have them all daisy chained to the proprietary controller so I can control all the fans including the pre-installed ones. For some reason, one of the fans and the AIO pump are not lighting up. I think there is an issue with my controller as I have seen build with more leds than mine that light up using the controller. Does anyone know where or how I can get a replacement proprietary controller?

    Hello

for your View 51, are there total 11 ARGB fans-3 pre-installed ARGB fans and extra 8 Pure ARGB fans?

which AIO pump do u have?

    Hi,

After spending a good hour following the manual. I cannot ascertain as to how the psu support bracket fits together.

Photos are of the main support bracket photographed from the base of my build. And the small ‘hook’ bracket that I am completely con fuddled with.

    Hello Hello

thanks for choosing the Core V21.

for the power supply brackets, you do not really need them actually.

the power supply is secure enough without the bracket.

the one you took the pic separately is the one you have to install it vertically in the manual. kindly check the below pic I marked with the arrows.

hope you could figure out by the pic below.

I know it is a bit tricky, if you still don't get it, let me know.

    thanks

No worries.  I cannot find the cable that attaches the mobo to the controller.  I may have misplaced it because my mobo is not compatible with the controller.  Do you think that is my issue?  Yes, the fans work fine - they just do not light up.

the lighting should works properly no matter which mobo you have.

have you tried to press the RGB button for 3~5 seconds? that's how we switch  the mode from RGB button to mobo.

All the connections are solid.  I used a multi meter and I'm getting voltage on the 5v and 12v.

EDIT: I thought I only connected it to the mb if mine was compatible.  Do I connect the controller board to the mother board either way?  It is an Asus Prime Z270-K

    Hello

Sorry to get back to you late.

Have you tried to connect to you motherboard? does it come with the 5V connector?

the setup looks fine to me, you try to connect to the mobo first if it's possible.

or maybe I have to arrange the new fans to you. all three fans are working but no lighting, right?

  6. Hello Hello

Thanks for loving V150 Mesh edition. it is a quite nice mATX case that with good thermal performance.

and it comes with unremovable dust filter behind the steel mesh. and even though it's unremovable, it's still very easy to clean with a brush .

try my best to take a pic to show you the filter at front.

I have set up my View 51 case and everything seems in order except that my case fans will not light up.  I am not using a compatible MB, so I am trying to use the reset switch method.  It is hooked up and I have held it for 3-10 seconds, but the fans will just not light up.  What am I missing?

    Hello

Could you shoot a short video of your system?

and also, take some pics for the control board , so that I could check how you connect the cables.

    thanks

They should send you a switch cable. Basically goes in between your current cable and the MB. I guess they have had a few bad cases go out with the wiring flipped. Send James a message. He helped me out and things work great now.

    Thank you!

    Hello

Will I buy rubber grommets for view 51 somewhere? Mine started to fall apart after 3 months. I tried to get this information from the seller, but unfortunately it failed, after a few months of waiting I gave up. I also contacted at least 3 times via the contact form on thermaltake, but never got a reply.

I recently put together a new build inside the ThermalTake View71 ARGB Case. I was disappointed to find out that the case was not actually "Asus Aura" compatible.

My current motherboard is the Asus Z590-E LGA

It does not have the proper header voltage to operate the built in RGB 5v connector for controlling the lighting.

How am I supposed to change the lighting from a constantly Pulsing Rainbow Color on the Case fans?

I want to know if there is any direct fix for this from ThermalTake or the community.

    Hello Hello

thanks for choosing View 51 TG ARGB.

the ARGB fans come with the case can only control by the msi software.

the case ARGB fans can be controlled via either RGB button or motherboards' software.

you do not need to install the RGB plus software.

    Thanks

I wanted to add, when I plug in headphones into the mic jack I do hear audio and the computer thinks it's headphones. Is there a way to rewire the front cable? Yeah, yeah I understand, just flip my connections from my headphone/mic set up and call it good, but this case is not even 2 weeks old, it should be wired correctly.

    Thanks again

Hello everyone. So I recently got a prebuilt computer from IBP. For my case I chose the Thermaltake level 20 MT. And for the mobo I picked the ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming 4.

So on the Thermaltake page for the case it says that it should be compatible with the ASRock Polychrome software to control the lighting.

However when I downloaded the program and tried changing the lights, it didn’t appear to be working.

I know the case itself has the 3 front fans built in which are controlled by the button on top. Because of that, are the lights on those fans not able to be changed with the ASRock application?

    Hello Hello

the lighting can be control by the software for sure.

what you gotta to do is to connect the cable between the control board and the motherboard.

check the control board to see if the cable is connected already.

if it does, u just have to press the RGB button for about 3 seconds to switch the mode to motherboard sync.

try this out to see if it works.

    thanks

Please excuse the noob question but ARGB is new to me.

I have a new TT V250 chassis with the included ARGB fans and controller. I would like to control the lights using Mystic Light (MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon MB) via the jrainbow1 header. However, the TT controller’s motherboard connection has a different pin alignment (looks like just 3-pin), while the jrainbow headers have a 4-pin spread with one pin omitted, so: xxox.

Neither the chassis nor the MB included any sort of cable to marry these together. Is there a special adapter cable I need to source?

    Hello Hello

thanks for choosing our V250 TG ARGB case

for the motherboard sync, there should've the cable in accessory bag for you to connect the control board and the motherboard.

    thanks

    Hello,

i search for a new home of my hardware and found the Level 20 HT. I use an costum watercooling with 2 360mm radiators (3x120mm fans). The thickness is 60 and 45 mm.

    Now my question:

I plan to install the bottom radiator  vertical. Which possibilitys i have in this case:

Can i install the radiator outside (behind the backplate) and only the fans inside? What is the maximal thickness of the radiator? When i use the vertical installation, is the installation of fans in the bottom area possible?

And what is the maximal thickness of the side radiator.

    Thank you for your help

    Hi TT,

I was wondering because of an aesthetics and looking at the pretty fans,is it possible to install 240 mm radiator at the side (Corsair H100i),where I marked with red on picture?

If yes,how do I install it,because I don't see holes for screws on this metal side, that I can mount radiator onto.

    Hello

there is liquid cooling installation brackets to support those customers who would like to install the radiator. check the pic belwo

My most recent build is in a Core X71, which meets  all my needs, but I am getting the custom mod itch, as  well as want to add a feature that did not come with the case. Hoping someone has sources that they could share. I tried reaching out to Thermaltake Support via their contact form, but got no response, so hoping maybe some of their staff monitor the forums.

First, the one that should be the easiest; Is there any place to purchase spare lower sides? The little mini mesh panels that cover the area where the PSU is mounted. I have an idea to add a small LCD screen there that will display temps, load, and FPS data, but I would prefer to experiment with a spare than potentially destroy a part that can not be replaced without buying a whole new case.

Second, the small top/front panel which contains the power and reset buttons, audio jacks, and the USB 2.0/3.0 Type A ports, is there any chance of getting an updated one which also contains a USB 3.1 (Gen2) Type C port? Seeing as how many modern motherboards boards now include headers for USB 3.1, it would be nice to have that available on the front panel. Several of TT's other chassis have 3.1 Type C ports, just not this one, sadly.

It’s my first time cleaning the front panel of my case but I’ve tried putting my hand on the bottom and pulling it but it doesn’t work is there another way I can take the front panel off?

    Hello Hello

    which case u hav ?

the way u tried is the correct way to remove the front panel for most of the cases. maybe u should just pull harder.

hello everybody, i'm a brand new thermaltake core tg p8 owner, and this is my first message in this community

    let's start

i'm gonna do a very disrepectful thing 😆 ...i'm gonna air cooling the p8 .......i know i know...you hate me...but i'm not experienced in water cooling so this build will be air cooled.

My next build, in 12 months i think, i promise you that will be water cooled.

Well, i got a couple of questions that you can surely help me with.

    1) fans - i've counted about 14 fans to install, that i want to be rgb fans, but i'm not sure how proprerly sync with motherboard

    2) i like black fans, with an rgb circle, i've seen the tt riing but i'm a bit confused, so ..any advice?

    3) wall mounting...one of the main reason i bought p8... if i will have to change or add psu cables, or simply work on the back panel for any reason...you think i can only disassemble the metal part working on the other metal part left wall-mounted?

    Hello NEW GUY!!!!

    this is James from Thermaltake.

thanks for purchasing Core P8. one of the great choice for DIY liquid cooling... well, air cooling is fine as well.

the point is you have the best thermal solution for you system, right, no matter u go for liquid or air cooling.

and for your questions, kindly check below

    1) depends on which fans and mother board you choose. if you choose 5V addressable RGB fans, u have to choose the motherboard that comes with 3-pin 5V connectors, okay.  i would recommend u to choose our fans. there are many kinds of RGB fans  which is very easy to sync with the motherboard.

2)not sure what u confused about? but personally, i love Riing Quad or Riing Trio. the fans we have on the Core P8 web page is Riing Quad. looks super good if u love RGB.

    image.png.8517796594fb304a5675bfe16897be66.png

    3) well, i would recommend u to take the whole system down and do the maintenance or upgrade. that will be safer.

feel free to ask any question and hope u love Core P8

I have my PC for almost half a year now and I still cant find a way to change the rgb lightings of the case with the msi mystic licghts or asus aurora. I have the MSI Gaming plus max mainboard and a thermaltake level 20 mt, and I dont know why the lights wont connect or sync. Anyone have a clue?

    Hello Hello

MSI Gaming plus max only has 2 12V RGB connectors

    • 2 x 5050 RGB LED strip 12V connectors

if there is no 3-pin 5V addressable RGB connector, you cannot sync the ARGB fans from Level 20 MT with the software.

    I have the following setup:

ThermalTake Level 20 MT ARGB Mid Tower Chassis Case
Gigabyte B360M AORUS Gaming 3 Intel 8th Gen Motherboard

The current setup is that the ThermalTake LED controller board controls all three fans on the front of the case, and I believe these are digital LED fans, and the only way to control the fan colours is by pressing the RGB switch at the top of the case. I've found out that I can hold this switch for 3 seconds and it is supposed to switch over to software control, but since it's not connected to the motherboard, the fan LEDs are off.

My motherboard supports both analog LED (12V, GRBW) and digital LED (VDG), I was wondering if I could plug the TT LED control board into the motherboard, and if so, how does it connect up? I cannot find a wiring diagram for this board. There is a COM1 connector with a hard-wired cable going into a SATA power connector from the power supply.

I've attached a picture of the LED control board.

    TT LED Control board.jpg

    Hello Hello

to sync the ARGB fans to the motherboard, you have to make sure the motherboard u hav supports 5V addressable RGB.

and there is a cable in accessory bag that can connect between the control board and the motherboard

    image.png.2e0ac14b08bb1452b5686899b655f400.png

and kindly check the pic below to show you where to connect the cable
