    Most importantly is it safe for the fans/controller to be plugged in on back usb port and not the motherboard?

    Used micro usb cable to usb port on back of computer (not motherboard) as others suggested and it works. Is this the only/best solution?

    The 1.0.2 is the version I used and it worked with the old motherboard.

    I have a Asus Geforce GTX 1060 gpu. I tried what you said, still didn't work. Then I uninstalled and deleted the tt folder as you said, and installed Ring TT Premium Edition Version 1.02. This version does display on screen but isn't connecting to the fans.

    New motherboard with ryzen 2600 x470 chip set, reinstalled all software, now riing 12 Premium Edition software won't open
