Hi Avenger86
Thank you reaching our here.
We have two PFCs in that model, one for high workload and the other for low.
I am guessing the PFC work with low workload is having some problems, maybe off setting.
Could you let me know the S/N number in the back of your power supply, and contact our Customer Service for a possible replacement.
and let us study the issue with your power supply.
Thanks.

Thanks for your message. Can I kindly ask you which model do you use? For RGB series, we have Toughpower ARGB, Toughpower IRGB and Toughpower Grand RGB series, there's the link down below then you can see which one do you get.
https://www.thermaltake.com/products/power-supply.html?psu_wattage=89
However, Toughpower ARGB series support 5V header, allowing you to control the lights directly from the software without installing any extra lighting software or controllers.
Toughpower Grand RGB series support 12V header and you can't control the lighting by the motherboard software.
Hope above messages are helpful.
Thanks -
Hi Carlos
Every power supply could have different pin assignment for cable,
if using random cable other from the package that you purchased could cause damage to power supply, so please don't do it.
-
Hi Compguygo
Thanks for reaching out here, but "Do not attempt what you are about to do!"
Due to the design layout and pin assignment, if you plugged pci-e cable to the CPU 4+4 slot, you can fry your motherboard.
I suggest to get a new power supply that comes with 2 sets of 4+4 CPU cables.

Hi Juez
Thanks for reaching out form Spain.
But sorry for bring you the bad news that Toughpower Grand RGB 750W does not support for DPSG software.
Please consider our Toughpower iRGB series for the benefits of DPS G APP.

By the way, love your beautiful country, I had been there early last year for vocation.

Hi v8wgVB9NmP
Thanks for reaching out here.
Usually, SCP is a must to handle big current within very short amount of time. This one should't be missing.
However, since many power supplies are single 12V, it make OCP almost equals to OPP, therefore, OCP sometimes are missing.

Hi DeiW3as
If your old 600W works fine with your current system, then 750W Toughpower Grand RGB sync should works fine.
Please contact our customer service for a possible replacement.

Hi Crater8
This company: CableMod https://cablemod.com/ sometime do sleeved cable for us.
You can ask them if they have the black sleeved cables that you need.
-
Hi Gcoug1
Toughpower 650W is design only provides 1, 8 pin for user.
For safety reason, I strongly suggest to get a new power supply that comes with 2, 8 pins.
Different power supply comes with different pin layout design,
it can cause damage to the power supply if you plug in something that is not from us.
-
Hi Basriwizz2
Due to difference power supply design platform, pin layout are also different.
Therefore, do not share power connectors with different power supply.
-
Hi,
Sorry, we don't sell cable individually. Can you tell us about your region? We will try to find one for you.
Thanks
-
Hi
We suggest that use original cable is safer. Which region do you live?
We will see if there's any chances for finding a cable for you.
Thanks

Hi,
We have seriously considered this issue after discussing it with our RD team, we decide won't make any change recently.
Moreover, NVIDIA will put in a 12 pin to 6+2 pin dongle with GPU, hope this message helps you.
Thanks
