  1. Hi,

We have been hit with some spam due to our contest going on. So delays will happen right now sorry.

How is the setup now since the weekend?

For the RGB on the pump itself, you need to change the selection in the software from Riing Fan to Floe AIO, look for the blue arrow on the top of each white module within the software. once you switch it, it should work then.

  2. Hi,

Looks like a bad LED on the fan itself.

One thing to check, swap the fan into another port on the controller or swap 2 fans around on the controller.

See if the issue follows or stays to that port.

From there you should see what is the issue and will likely have to replace either the controller or the fan.

Contact our support for warranty options, we normally just swap out that part, not the entire thing FYI to make it easier for the user.

    Hey Thermal Mike,

I have a similar request but for the X9. I sent a submission about a week ago and have not heard back yet.

Do you know if X9 parts are available for purchase?

    Hi,

Where did you go and what did you submit :)

btw I bought this controller just today and tried it out. It definitely syncs my Riing plus up to asus aura, however the entire lighting scheme flickers. I've tried everything and it keeps doing it with this controller. it's like the lighting just skips ahead for a second then goes back to normal speed. I'm guessing this is some bug. I'd like to know if anyone else tried this controller and had this issue.

    Hi,

What version of the ASUS Aura are you using? They have a couple different versions, make sure you get the one for your motherboard specifically and that you have the latest version.

    Excellent. Thanks for your help.

I heard back from support about the single 140mm Riing Plus fan. They said they don't offer it. It seems strange that a 120mm one can be bought on it's own, but not a 140mm. I am contemplating doing a push-pull on my radiator, in which case I will just order a 3 pack, then.

You can call our support for spare parts to sell and see.

I discuss with our sales already to add in the Riing Plus 14 Singles to ttpremium.com

In the meantime if you are in USA, just submit a ticket to check.

  6. You have to adjust your sleep modes if you want the lights to come back after sleep states, its the way it is.

When power is removed and then brought back you have to re-sync just like anything else with this kind of hardware.

These are not simple LED fans, you are also dealing with addressable functions here which take communication and signal from the MB to function.

When you remove that from going into a sleep feature, you cant expect it to just come back, it does not work that way for electrical.

I would like for MB to have better options to support new features, they so caught up in reducing the power to as little as possible.

MY Suggestion, turn your system off when you are not using it.

  7. Hi,

The TT SYNC controller is a completely different product.

The digital controller that is included is with our software where the TT SYNC is a hub to allow pass through to the MB so the MB software can take control.

The Floe and all the plus stuff has been out way before this product, it is a new product to support all the changes MB companies are making which I think is great.

If you want to use Mystic light functions, just make sure you motherboard is on the support list, MSI does not have much for 5v addressable SYNC functions just yet. Check before you buy :)

  8. Hello,

If the fans spin, but there is no light, you need to install the software.

You also need to connect the USB 2.0 USB Header to the MB for connection since it runs off the software.

Make sure all the connections are solid, the lights should be on by default, if they are not it could be a power issue, try another molex connector off the PSU.

If you dont get anywhere with this, suggest to swap the controller under warranty, it could just be faulty.

  9. Hi all,

Just an update, if you have a Digital PSU and it will not allow you to login through the Windows app (Website Login should be fine) then the solution now is to RMA the unit with your place of purchase or through Thermaltake support.

If you have this issue, please post up what model you have so we can narrow down this issue, it is not effected by all units, but we are trying to determine which models are causing the issue to resolve.

  10. Hi,

You dont need any tools, the top cap is threaded so it screws on to the base and the cap screws onto the top of the cylinder.

It could be a tight fit to break it loose, rubber gloves do the trick, dont use any tools through or it could get damaged.

  11. Call our support we can look into a quote for you to get just one fan.

We sell singles on our online store:

    http://ttpremium.com/product/riing-plus-14-rgb-radiator-fan-single-fan/

But I think the page is down because we are out of stock.

I asked our sales team to take a look to get more in stock.

You can also contact our support and get a quote for a single fan  and see if we have them available:

  12. Hi,

Sorry for the troubles, are you running any other software like monitoring on startup as well?

Have you tried turning off any other monitoring software and run the TT Riing Plus software to see if its better?

    Just some ideas.

Is this a fresh OS as well? Check device manager for any flags.

version 1.1.6 is the latest, I was testing it with a Threadripper 1950X and ASUS Zenith Extreme motherboard just the other day.

Suggest to get a ticket into our support - https://thermaltakeusa.zendesk.com/hc/en-us

  13. Hi,

Reseat the pump, apply new paste and check your backplate to make sure your cooler is not "gapping" off the CPU where the cold plate is not getting proper contact.

Sounds like it based on what you say, since the pipes and everything are cold.

Is the pump making any noise at all? vibration when powered on?

You got all the cables connected? double check.

Honestly think it is a seating issue, make sure the hardware is on right for the socket type and all.

    Keep us posted.

  14. Yes, once you figure it out the first time it is much easier.

I am working on a new video to help explain more about how to setup this stuff to help.

For the ports not used, yea turn them off so they dont bug you and then if you see this again, it helps to let you know something is going on and is great to prevent a bigger problem because you may have not seen it.

Keep in mind too with those extra ports you got room to add more stuff :)

  15. Yes, it should run continuously while it has power.

When you got a replacement from us was it the entire thing or just the motor?

Something is going on from what you say, maybe the way the motor bearing inside is mounted, where you would have to take the pump apart, reseat the motor and all that to make sure it is secured properly for function.

I have used dozens of these pumps, I have great results with it.

Give our support a call or email, lets get some more details to our support and we can arrange another replacement if needed.

Please let them know we have been working together on this here and we can help test a replacement pump prior to shipment if needed to support
