Hello everybody! So earlier in the year, AMD approached me asking whether I would be interested in taking part in a themed mod "battle" to help promote the new RX 470. Well I've never even done a themed build before, never mind one in a head to head competition! I'll be competing against Jens Schwalbe of BIRD Customs, so it'll be no mean feat. I will be representing the UK and Jens Germany. I'd like to thank everybody at AMD involved in setting up this competition, along with all the companies who were willing to sponsor gear for it. So a big hand to Thermaltake, Asus RoG, Gigabyte and Corsair for each providing hardware that will be going into the build. As you can see, my theme for this build will be Overwatch... Like seemingly everybody else. Whilst I don't like playing the game itself much, I do like the art style. So without further ado, here are the first photos of the kit going inside!
I got this case, View 27, several weeks ago. Love this case!!!! Due to some issues I have some Air Fans questions: 1) the fan on the back versions, that came with the case already mounted, is blowing air INSIDE the case, not normally blows air OUTSIDE: is that correct or wrong by the builder??? 2) I have 3 120mm Riing fans (f'ing awesome!!!) mounted in front of the case: A: I have those mounted inside with the vent band behind those,; meaning vent first with air then the fans "touch" those: is that correct? B: if mounted before the vent case, how do the fan cables go through as I didn't see a "hole"for those to go inside, to be "plugged" in: is that correct? C) if a fan is mounted just above the 2 HDD mounts: does the fan suck in air to go out via the power case vent or does it blow air straight up the case? Hey guys wanted to share my project code named: Red 27 made possible with support from Thermaltake a company that truly supports modding!! This is a freestyle mod done in the view 27 enclosure. When I saw this case I had to do a build in it, and I wasn't disappointed. It has such a unique yet familiar layout and with the vertical gpu mount, its so easy to show of your super expensive graphics card you worked so hard to pay for lol. Now I am still waiting on a couple things to finish up the loop, but should be here anytime.
