Whats your most preferred motherboard size?

I see that smaller builds are becoming more popular these days

For me, i'm currently using an ATX motherboard but i'm looking to build a smaller mATX build, what kind of motherboard size do you guys prefer the most?

Thought about trying a smaller motherboard... maybe trying mATX and getting a cube chassis.
Scared of changing though... Always had standard ATX

I think the broken kind are the cheapest. Old ones are pretty cheap too.

I'm a full size ATX guy, but, I'm considering doing a mineral oil PC, and I'd use a smaller one for that.

Haha, yehh mineral oil PC's look pretty cool but i guess it will be quite messy to upgrade, did you watch the linustech build?

Yeah I did see that! I really don't know what I'd use it for, I just want to do it because I know I can.

hahaha true, i kind of wanted to do it too but how would u clean it? drain the oil and refill? 

im guessing it will be more messy than draining out a loop lol

I would be an absolute mess, I guess you could drain it like you would a regular fishtank, and have a lot of towels ready.

For me it would mainly be ATX or M-ATX, M-ITX is too small (and thus often lacks fan ports and such) for me but it's usually the form-factor that has built-in Wi-Fi.

I’ve been leaning toward mATX lately too—nice balance between expandability and a smaller footprint. It’s great for keeping things compact wrome without losing too many features.
