Thermaltake Riing Quad Software

I've been running my Riing Quad fans forever now without software because when I would download the Thermaltake software for them, it owuld make the default RGB "choppy" looking, like as if it was lower "FPS" (idk what the term for rgb refresh rate is ####) and I haven't bothered looking into it because the RGB would stay synced up anyway, but I would like to control fan curves and change colors every once in a while, so what might be the cause for this? and what would the fix be?
