Therealbigsteve Posted April 2, 2022 Report Posted April 2, 2022 So I have a Thermatake Dr. Power II power supply tester. My PC has been failing to boot up lately and today I finally had time to open it up and do some testing. I changed the CMOS battery with the same results then I decided to test the power supply. It’ll pass on at first but will fail if I run a second test after the first one. This happens every time. Am I doing something wrong or is my power supply crapping out? Quote

Eira Jeremy Posted August 15, 2024 Report Posted August 15, 2024 It sounds like your power supply might be on its way out, especially if it fails after the first test. Have you considered checking other components as well? By the way, if you're looking for a quick mental challenge while troubleshooting, you might enjoy an iq test free online! Quote

victoriajohn4 Posted May 14 Report Posted May 14 It is like your PSU might be on its last legs—failing on a second test could point to instability under repeated load. I had a similar issue and swapping the PSU fixed it 주소야. Quote
