Stas Posted August 21, 2023 Report Posted August 21, 2023 I've been installing the thing 3 times in a row now, but it simply doesn't launch now. When I tried to launch the app from its folder, I got an error message about some LibHWInfo.exe missing. No idea what to do now. Quote
TT_Brian.Chen Posted August 21, 2023 Report Posted August 21, 2023 Hello Stas, If you've attempted to install the DPS-G APP without success and have come across a "LibHWInfo.exe" error, please follow these steps: navigate to the installation folder of the DPS-G APP and launch the application "Thermaltake Tool_1.0.9.13.exe." This tool will assist you in installing the necessary drivers. If the problem continues, make sure that your system and drivers are up to date, or get in touch with our support for assistance. Stas Posted August 21, 2023 Author Report Posted August 21, 2023 Tried to launch the app, but there is absolutely nothing happening after, even if I launch it with admin rights. Note that I do not get the "LibHWInfo.exe" error. Still, the TT DPS app attempts to launch on startup, but is gone after the initial splash animation Quote
Stas Posted August 23, 2023 Author Report Posted August 23, 2023 Brian, are you here? You answered my opening post within hours, and now I don't have any follow-up from you for a couple days Quote
Stas Posted August 28, 2023 Author Report Posted August 28, 2023 The issue has been solved by installing a newer version of the app that Brian has provided me via direct messages here. The link Brian gave me is https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/1xmrwz7gthbj1fkx2d6hq/Tt-DPS-G-App_Global_Ver3.3.2.rar?rlkey=g3mbgzcodxr6huiqg6iq82179&dl=0 Adding screenshot for credibility Quote
gabbians Posted January 7, 2024 Report Posted January 7, 2024 Hi, I got the same problem with TT DPS G APP, after launch it shows initial logo and then nothing happens. Already tried all the tips mentioned above but nothing change, can someone help? Thank you! Quote
Spaceinvader1979 Posted January 9, 2024 Report Posted January 9, 2024 Good morning to everyone,. I've got the same problem with TT DPS G APP, I've got the lastest version but it crashes everytime I start It due to the libHWinfo.exed problem. How can I solve it? Thanks in advance, Kenneth Quote
Elderdeekey Posted January 22, 2024 Report Posted January 22, 2024 Got Thermaltake Toughpower iRGB Plus 1200W (PS-TPI-1200F2FDPE-1). In Windows it is visible via its USB connection to AIDA64, which shows it temperature, power and fan speed. However, TT DPS G APP, downloaded from Thermaltake website, ver. V3.3.2, dated 2023-07-25, doesn't work - it does the same as many users wrote before - it shows initial logo and then nothing happens. (BTW, "LibHWInfo.exe" error popped up after initial start of TT DPS app, but disappeared after launching the application "Thermaltake Tool_1.0.9.13.exe." as Brian Chen wrote above. You won't see any messages or GUI from this program after its launch though). Also I've tried to install this application by downloading .rar archive from the link above, provided by Brian- it doesn't help, same results, it shows logo which disappears in a few seconds and nothing else happens... I'm running Windows 11 23H2 22631.3007. As a new customer I'm rather surprised that this issue hasn't been addressed by Tt support... Buying PS that could be configured via application software was one of the reason to buy this product. W/o it this PS could be worse than competitors that provide reliable SW to manage the device. Awating for update SW which resolves this problem ASAP. Quote
Elderdeekey Posted January 24, 2024 Report Posted January 24, 2024 Forget about TT DPS G APP sh$$ty application. Use TT RGB PLUS_Setup_2.1.6_x64.exe instead. It sees PS and has all abilities from TT DPS G APP. GUI and design in general and one of the worst I ever seen but it does its job - allows to configure fan and lightning. Quote
Neeraj Posted April 20, 2024 Report Posted April 20, 2024 Morning, i'm facing the issue even after update the app. The logo appears on starting the app, but disappears after a few seconds. any solution? @Elderdeekey, thanks for the suggestion, i will take a look at TT RGB Plus too. Quote

Actually I gave up - TT DPS G APP doesn't work at all, even the newest, TT RGB Plus works but it disables my Web camera... So I've replaces this PSU - I bought Gigabyte AORUS P1200W 80+ PLATINUM MODULAR, it has the same wattage but even smaller in sizes, has fancy LCD screen and Gigabyte does support their products... Which also confirms my suppose - Tt programmers are unprofessional, since their installation adds unnecessary lib (dated 2017 year) which prevents running of their SW... Shame on them only goes up! Neeraj Posted July 3, 2024 Report Posted July 3, 2024 Finally a solution. but after the replacement. Thanks though. Quote

JhonyDavid Posted February 22 Report Posted February 22 It sounds like the installation might be incomplete or missing dependencies. Try reinstalling the app with administrator privileges and ensure your antivirus isn't blocking any files. You might also check if LibHWInfo.exe is available in the installation folder or try reinstalling any required libraries. Let me know if you need further help. Quote
Barret Posted March 11 Report Posted March 11 Hi, everyone! Same #### here. Installed the last version from Thermaltake site (3.3.2). Tried everything mentioned in this topic - useless. I solved the problem by installing the previous version - 3.3.1. It works except for some reason I can't login into my account. Quote
