There is a cable already attached to the controller however it states, "to attach the controller cable to the mainboard and controller". If you must attach a cable to the controller, then what is the cable already attached to the controller for? I also understand that you must download software for this controller, is that true and if so, where do you get it? I'm going to attach a pic of the controller.
