Painfulmono Posted February 17, 2016 Report Posted February 17, 2016 The chassis has a molex cord that comes from the fan controller and it is a female port. Where would I find the male port that I can connect to the female port and then to the PSU? I can't seem to find that at all. Quote
ThermalMike Posted February 18, 2016 Report Posted February 18, 2016 Hello, The molex connection on the V71 is a female, so you would connect your molex power connection from your PSU directly to it. Double check and send a pic if you can if you need anything else -Mike Quote
Painfulmono Posted February 18, 2016 Author Report Posted February 18, 2016 I can't find the male molex to PSU cord. Did it come with the PSU? Quote
ThermalMike Posted February 19, 2016 Report Posted February 19, 2016 Hi, Yes, the connections on the PSU should all be male. take some pics so I can see what you talking about, maybe we talking about 2 different things. Quote
Painfulmono Posted February 21, 2016 Author Report Posted February 21, 2016 So the fan controller on the V71 has female AND male connections on either side of the molex connector.
