  1. Hi, Welcome to the Forums! We should receive our USA shipment here next week. Product should start to show up online in about 2-3 weeks! Since we do global launches, each region availability will vary, will have it soon! Thank you for the interest!!!!
  2. Hi, Welcome to the TT Community! The panels, will slide off, they have locking slide tabs that when you go to take off the case panel, just slide it first to the rear of the case before trying to lift it off. Once you get a hang of it, it should be easy from there. keep us posted!
  3. Everyone is going to have a different experience. I have found the shielding to not be that big of an issue with what I have tested with. Similar cables online mostly come without any shielding. Try what works, best thing is you can return it if it does not work out. Let us know how that cable works out. Good Luck!
  4. Found this on google: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Video-Display-and-Touch/Power-Supply-Unit-Upgrade-HP-6005-Pro-Windows-7/td-p/3276517 Looks like you need to make sure the PSU offer a 20+4 on the ATX in order to be compatible. For our TR PSU Series, most have 20+4 so you should be ok, but you might want to check each connection from that PSU in there first and compare it to the connections offered on the PSU. we list it out on the main webpages on our website: http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Power_Supply/TR2_Series_/TR2/C_00002410/TR2_600W_Bronze/design.htm Good luck on the upgrade
  5. I will have to say the cable cannot fry your card, if installed correctly. If it fried, it may have been from a loose connection or something else. You also did not say if it worked plugged into the M/B directly (Was wondering why you did not mention this) You also have on-board video, so I wan to mention to make sure you took proper steps to make sure it was disabled (They can be a pain sometimes) Why would we tell you to just buy a new one? You have warranty on the GPU right? This is why you have it, there is sooo many reasons why it may not work. If you can, try it in another system (If you want) or just swap it out under warranty with the GPU manufacture. It should be straight forward, I know you are upset, this happens, with everything sometimes, that is why there is warranties. I wont speculate any further... Here to help, you welcome to email me, we can also talk about it too. Contact me by email and will go from there. We care about everyone, I help people all the time on all kinds of stuff. You are welcome to contact our support just the same, I work with our team very close.
  6. Hi, thanks for the post, the cable shielding is not as big of a deal as you make it to be, so dont worry, it is not going to cause you major issues. I have personally ripped it off and it still works just fine. we have done several testing not just with the original or new cables, but also the ones we received back from customers that we requested them too. The holes on the PCB are there for the mounting, they are not specific except for the cases, Core P5/P3 use the same holes Of course I want to mention this is just for USA side and my personal support I have been doing to assist everyone. If your replacement cable is defective, email me directly and I will help to get in contact with our EU team to help you.

  9. Hi All, Thanks for the all the info and feedback. I know some are still having some issues even after receiving a replacement. If you are still having issues, please contact our support. 800.988.1088 ttsupport@thermaltakeusa.com I know from all your feedback this is not a guarantee for everyone. We are working on some new solutions for users looking for that guarantee. Please stay tuned for more information soon.
  10. Do you have the fans on Auto? they will not adjust until you put them into manual mode. As far as the temps go, check the connections and make sure the wires are not pinched/cut.
  11. Call our support, we have tons of stuff in the warehouse. If we got it, we can sell it to you. 800.988.1088
  12. Appreciate all the feedback from all of you and happy to work with anyone to help resolve issues they are experiencing. **If you are having an issue with your Thermaltake Riser cable, please contact us today so we can help you** Couple things I have learned from working you all: 1. Riser cables are not certified by any means with all MB/GPU manufactures. 2. Higher end GPUs are not the main problem, I have seen issues with mid range GPU just the same. (We have tested GTX 1080 in SLI without issue and full performance) 3. Several GPU manufactures do modify their PCB specifications from reference, these are usually certified prior to release, but can be prone to more issues over reference (Vanilla) models. The Thermaltake Riser cable: The cable it self can be folded, bent and so on, it is not the "Middle of the cable" to be concerned about, but more where the cable attaches to the PCB. The cables are matched to the connections which can cause a concern with the performance or overall function if something becomes broken or "pulled" I highly encourage everyone with this riser cable or others, to take good care in the installation of their cables. Sometimes you dont even know you are doing it - When installing the riser cable, install the bracket on first. - Don't plug the connection into the motherboard first, do that last. - Make sure you connect all other motherboard connections like front panel, usb headers, etc.. first. (the ones that will be behind the riser cable) - Ensure the connections are properly seated and take note of the PCI-E lock clip on the GPU connection side. For the customers I have worked with globally, I am happy to say we have had a great success rate for the ones that have had issues. We do still have some challeneges as tech improves and new models come out. We are also working on some new solutions that we hope to share with you all soon. These new solutions are all thanks to all of you, who have provided us with feedback. Thank you!
  13. Going to be honest with you, the 390X will likely not work, it has been one of the cards I have seen little success with when using a riser cable. Even those $100+ 3M cables dont work, it the way the card is designed and how the power is delivered. I can send you another cable, but that is all I can really offer. The riser cable is not a guarantee unfortunately. GPU/MB manufactures do no certification on riser/extension cables that I am aware of. I have had much better results with NVIDIA cards sorry to say, GTX 1080 in SLI no problem. We already testing Titan X cards.
  14. Hi, if you have any issue with your Thermaltake riser cable, no matter where you got it, please follow the template and email: ttsupport@thermaltakeusa.com For customers outside USA, we will forward to our teams in your region to support.
  15. Hi, We are working on the new product launch at this time. Right now we are pending the press release, scheduled for next week. I am working on getting the fans in stock once the PR is released I can go live. This is more info than I normally give our on a product launch, but I want to try to give you all accurate idea because I manage it here in the USA Appreciate your post and feedback.
  16. Nice write up! I have not tried 6 fans myself, this is interesting mod to try. Thanks for the details and support
  17. Hi, If the shop cannot help to fix or exchange it (Not sure if you got it there) contact us to see about warranty options. When using Molex connectors those 4 thick pins can sometimes not align up just perfect as there is a lot of play in the connector. Just make sure the pins are seated all the way, it could have also cause a short or who knows that could have caused this to happen. A new one should fix the issues.
  18. Hello, Our support team can check to see if we can sell you spare part to help with you request. Normally we do not offer these fans separately. Contact info in my signature
  19. Thanks all for emailing me and glad to help where I can in my region. I try to get back to everyone best I can, if you email me, I see it, just trying to control the back-and-forth emails from everyone, Globally. Keep contacting me if you need help, we have been very successful with the new cable "IF" you are having issues. I can also confirm we have tested the new GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 with the new riser cable in SLI and seeing no issues. Scores have also been on par with performance. From my research and your feedback, we have seen less issues with reference PCB designs over modified PCB from select manufactures.
  20. Hi, Welcome to the TT Community! This is a larger jump in tech and upgrades are not available or planning for this model to refresh. I have worked with some that have modified their current setups to take on a new CPU block keeping the existing components to use with the new. Best of luck on it, unfortunately I cannot really help with modification
  21. Will have information up later today, stay tuned on the promo. Thanks ans yes please send me some pics, will figure it out.
  22. Hi, Welcome to the TT community! Sorry to hear about your keyboard, since there is no caps on the PCB, it is likely a frequency issue of some sort causing interference internally. I would suggest to contact us and let us swap it out for you under warranty. Make sure to check our contact info for your region to get proper support. Let me know if you need any help, just PM me anytime.
  23. Hi, Welcome to the TT community! Did you just get it or have you had it and everything has been good until now? If you uninstall the mouse software does everything work without issue? Try any other mouse to see if you can recreate the issue? I have seen this with VGA drivers causing issues, but that does not mean that is the problem. Let us know and will see what we can do to help
  24. Hi, Welcome to the TT Community and thanks for the question. Have you tried connecting the FT into a different connector on the PSU or "different cable tree" to see any change? For the molex connection, make sure that the pins going into the connector on controllers side are pushed all the way in. (Sometimes when connecting these can pop out causing a loose/partial connection) Also, check the connections on the PCB of the Commander FT in the back, make sure nothing looks loose/broken or fried. The dimming issue should not be like that, not from what I have seen building them into systems. If you cant see anything obvious it just may be faulty and I would suggest to exchange it. let me know if you find anything out, here to help.
  25. Hi, Sorry to hear the shipping is so bad, like I mentioned in previous post, let me know some details, email me and will get you taken care of. 4x 120mm RGB is totally possiable with 1 controller, but you have to put 2 into 1 on 1 of the ports to do it. I have done this a few times here for some demos, like the ones you saw here to help if you want to DIY
