  1. Hi,

Thanks for the info so we can take a look at the concern.

This file is for where the login info is stored for the Software login.

All this is, is the login for the TT RGB Plus software if you choose to set a password on it for mobile app use and/or for alexa.

I don't think this is any real big concern to anyone. The password is also set in an algorithm and does not actually show the true password, just the email, which in today's stuff is everything imo.

If you have any other concerns, please help to share as we want the experience to be safe for everyone.

Hey, i really appreciate it that you replied so fast! I decided to try out the premium extender that you recommended. I tried to order it today but i have run into a problem. it actually asks me to pay 140euro for shipping and taxes!!!!! combined with the actual riser that costs 66.25euro it brings my total to 207.27euro!!! Thats just crazy. I live in Cyprus (europe). i used your link which redirected me to https://ttpremium.com/product/tt-premium-pci-e-3-0-extender-300mm when i clicked on buy. The new page automatically found my location correctly. Do you thing i did something wrong or is this kind of shipping to be expected?

    Hi,

We have several "TT Premium" Shops setup around the globe. I always default to the USA one if you can understand.

    We do have a https://ttpremium.eu

This site will have more local shipping options and we do have the risers around with other e-tailers and retailers too.

I will let our webstore manager know about the situation, will see if we can find some info since we have no idea on your login and/or location to do tests.

Our shipping is run with UPS and we have full insurance on the packaging as well as any duties/taxes involved with the country that it is shipping to which is required.

Look around, you should be able to find them local.

Did you ever submit a request to hash that email address and password in content.ini? That's a hacking vector waiting to happen.

    Hi,

There is no content.ini file in the TT RGB Plus software.

Understand your statement, but please back it up with a reference would be nice if you are going to mention it.

Don't need to see the internal contents of said file, but if you can share a pic of the location on what exactly you are talking about would be appreciated.

Hi ThermalMike i would like to ask you a question about something you said a while ago in this thread and i hope you can help me!

You said: "Going to be honest with you, the 390X will likely not work, it has been one of the cards I have seen little success with when using a riser cable. Even those $100+ 3M cables dont work, it the way the card is designed and how the power is delivered.".

I have a 390x and recently i bought 2 different non-thermaltake risers (40cm long). They are expensive risers about 60euro each! Neither of them works, they work in windows but the GPU driver crashes when i try to play games or run benchmarks.

So since years have passed and (i hope) riser tech has been improved, my question is: does what you said still stand and i should stop spending money on this or is there a thermaltake riser (30cm long minimum) that you can recommend for me to buy that should work with my 390x??

Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer

    Hi,

I will stand by our product to say the TT Premium Riser cable is the best one in the market today. It would be the only option I would suggest to see if that would work for that card.

It is a different card than the rest, but I do not have one to confirm if it does work or not.

    This cable specifically - https://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Chassis/Accessories_/_/C_00003013/TT_Premium_PCI_E_3_0_Extender_300mm/design.htm

Please note we do have other cables out in the market, but this one is the best and is 300mm (30cm) in length.

If Linus can run a 1080Ti from across the room with these cables, I can only hope it will work for you with just one.

Please let me know if it works if you go this route.

    Hi,

I'm interested in the new TT Riing Trio fans. But in the product page I saw this info:

*DO NOT connect Riing Trio fans to other TT RGB PLUS controllers

what about the TT Sync Controller? is it compatible? because I'm planning on using 6 Trio fans, and TT sync controller seems to be the perfect choice since you can connect up to 9 fans. I don't think the included Riing Trio controller is the solution as it can only be used with 5 fans (the recommendation in the official website) and adding one more controller just for 1 more fan seems a bit overkill.

    Hello,

Just wanted to follow up on the statement you found on our website. We have now updated it to be more clear.

As we confirmed the proper voltage requirements, up to 5 Riing Trio fans can be used, I have personal done more, but I would use with caution to have proper safety for your system always.

So I finally figured out what the issue was. Dip switch 1 on controller #2 was faulty. Being that I could not set controller 2 to #2 I switched it to #3 by doing [off|on|off|off] and the issue went away. You support guys need to have a log you can refer too to check these kinds of things? Effectively since that first switch on the dip switch bank was broken TT should be able to be figured out in a log somewhere that I had two #1 controllers and got no error from the application other than your "pop to front" pop up error.

    Hi,

Thanks for the feedback, one of the things I suggest to move stuff around, but ultimately it should just work on whatever controller number you want to set it too.

Have you  contacted our support yet to swap it out? We can just send you a controller to make it easy to replace instead of the entire setup.

Please contact our USA support through here and hope you can get the issue resolved fairly quick.

please CMIIW, suppose I want to use 6 Trio fans, and use the Thermaltake software, then the best way to do it is to daisy chain 2 Riing Trio Controller (if I buy 2 of the 3-pack I'll have 2 controller, one from each pack). And if I want to use 6 Trio fans and connect them to the MB (without Thermaltake software), I can just connect those fans to TT sync controller? Did I get that right?

    Hi,

Yes, you can do both technically to have like a "Dual-zone" RGB setup. Whatever will be on the TT SYNC controller will have to be controlled through the MB software and then for the Trio's connected to the controller, yes, you will need 2 controllers for 6 fans (will have room to add more stuff later as well like LED strips or other plus stuff we offer as well, you can likely add more than you would ever need with this setup for RGB.

When using fans on the TT SYNC controller, if you want to use PWM, dont forget to plug in the PWM cable included with the sync controller and then connect to a PWM header on your motherboard. Fan curves and all that will then need to be setup in the bios or through MB software if available.

  8. Hi,

Hope to clear this concern up for you.

The TT SYNC controller is not the same as the controllers for the Riing Plus products and the Riing Trio products.

Riing Plus = Riing Plus Controller (Thermaltake Software)

Riing Trio = Riing Trio Controller (Thermaltake Software)

TT SYNC Controller = Support all Plus family products including the NEW Riing trio fans. (HUB to connect to MB for SYNC control, no Thermaltake Software)

It is correct you cannot use a Riing Plus "Controller" with a Riing Trio fan. It should never be an issue either as each fan pack comes with its controller offering 5 ports. So you either have 2 free spots when buying a 3-pack or if you get the 5-pack the controller is then filled anyways.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any further concerns and I apologize if the message was confusing on our website.

  9. Hi,

Take reviews as you want on amazon, I would say in my experience, the only way the dye will dry up is if you leave the bottle open somewhere.

Have tons of bottles around the office, use some of them often and others not as much.

As for clogging goes, I don't see how "The dye alone" is going to clog the system, it is more a reaction with the coolant overall that caused his issue or something was dirty in the loop.

If you have any issues with the dyes themselves, we can swap out 1 bottle or all of them under warranty.

So, this software is in fact POLLING the hard disks and there is absolutely NO REASON for this.  I take it as a voilation of system security.  I have the "Floe Riing RGB 360 TT Premium Edition" and have the software version of v 1.2.2 and F 2.0.2

There is absolutely ZERO REASONS this software should be wearing on my hard disks.. AT ALL..   It's only there to control fan speeds, monitor CPU tempratures and change the lighting.  I think I'll be switching to a custom loop from EKWB if Thermaltake can't get their #### together, this is UNACCEPTABLE.

Also, Why is "stunner123" posting SPAM in here???

    Hi,

Next next version of the TT RGB Software should resolve the HDD pings, we are testing beta already on this.

I have seen you be very concerned about this, so look forward to your feedback.

Schedule should be ready by the end of this month. 1.2.3 :)

  11. Hi,

Built about 5 View 71's now with CPU + GPU cooling. Using multiple radiators and my loops have been great.

I achieve ambient temps on the system and get great performance.

Sealing the radiators for CFM improvements or modding the case is all up to you, but I think you would be fine with the way it is based on my personal results.

Setting up your rads, fans (Push+Pull) if you are planning that just want to watch the space and would prioritize on top/front mounting over the side, granted I didnt see much loss on cooling with the side, its just harder to do a P+P config that way even though I did it :P

I am using the smooth ones.  I am just not sure why one of these controllers keeps disappearing from the app - it appears for about 5 seconds then disappears.  I would love a verbose logging mode that would spit out what is going on.  Troubleshooting this has been a nightmare.

I WAS using a daisy chain setup but I ended up using the Y cable included and have a hub connected to each - I was debating buying an internal USB hub in case that was the problem

    Hi,

Have you tried contacting our support about this? We can help with replacement parts to get you back up and talk in more detail on whats going on.

  13. Hi,

Thank you for the feedback, we are always looking for new options to expand our cooling support.

We work with Asteck for our aio solutions because we know the performance is very good. With this comes some limitations to offer expansions due to patients in place by Astek.

We are working to make liquid cooling easier for everyone and give the performance you and I are looking for too.

ATM I don't have a schedule to share of any closed loop expansion coolers, but that don't mean never :)

  14. Hi,

The TT SYNC controller is basically just a hub that connects to the header on the MB.

Do you get any lights on the fans/Plus products you have connected at all or all just black?

check the power connection for the controller to make sure it is properly connected and powered, try another SATA pwr connection as well.

Once you have the system up go into the software for ASUS Auora and change the settings for the LED's

Second controller doing the same thing I would think it has to do with software, but that would only be if the lights are active on the fans and everything, you just cant control it.

  15. Hi,

Installation should not being doing this, maybe something else running is conflicting.

Yes the software detects audio devices for the sound modes.

C++ is no big deal, hate how they word it failed, but its just already installed. Remove all of them and do a fresh install and try that.

Also, try an older version, see if 1.6 works for you and will go from there:

  16. Hi,

Thanks for the feedback, some modes do not have a speed option available like some modes are single color only. We are working on some updates as we go forward, with new features and modes.

We are in the works for a BIG update that will be available soon and I think you will like it, for example, there will not be much more changes to this GUI :)
