  1. I RMA'd my Volos. The new appears to be working fine. Ill let you all know in about 3-6 months if this holds true. Only weird thing of note. I one game in particular. War Thunder. Will pushing the right and or left mouse button, there have been some game play moments where it seemed that the mouse button got stuck, and by hitting it again, it would be come unstuck. Some kind of weird macro thing? Was always wondering what the little circular thing was on the left mouse button?
  2. I RMA'd my mouse. Got the new one, and currently it is working. Only issue I've had is that sometimes will repeated clicking of the right mouse button, it would act in game like it was stuck on had a macro on where it would act as being continuously pressed. If for example you fired a machine gun, it would continue firing until empty with one button press. Is there some function of the right mouse button that allows to act as if its being pressed/lock in that mode? If not, then there is something wrong with the software/driver, or the mechanics of the mouse are bad. This needs to be fixed as a top priority. It is a shame, otherwise, I really like how the mouse feels and operates other than this issue. But I don't think I would buy another Thermaltake mouse at this point.
  3. So I tried to RMA my mouse today, and both the RMA script page and the technical support page gave me an error when I tried to submit. Server Error in '/USA' Application. A potentially dangerous Request.Form value was detected from the client (ctl00$head$FormView1$DescriptionTextBox="...nd, and a <period> key loop in...").Description: Request Validation has detected a potentially dangerous client input value, and processing of the request has been aborted. This value may indicate an attempt to compromise the security of your application, such as a cross-site scripting attack. You can disable request validation by setting validateRequest=false in the Page directive or in the configuration section. However, it is strongly recommended that your application explicitly check all inputs in this case. Exception Details: System.Web.HttpRequestValidationException: A potentially dangerous Request.Form value was detected from the client (ctl00$head$FormView1$DescriptionTextBox="...nd, and a <period> key loop in..."). Source Error: The source code that generated this unhandled exception can only be shown when compiled in debug mode. To enable this, please follow one of the below steps, then request the URL: 1. Add a "Debug=true" directive at the top of the file that generated the error. Example: <%@ Page Language="C#" Debug="true" %> or: 2) Add the following section to the configuration file of your application: <configuration> <system.web> <compilation debug="true"/> </system.web> </configuration> Note that this second technique will cause all files within a given application to be compiled in debug mode. The first technique will cause only that particular file to be compiled in debug mode. Important: Running applications in debug mode does incur a memory/performance overhead. You should make sure that an application has debugging disabled before deploying into production scenario. 4. So any word on updating the software?
  5. I've had this happen to me a few times as well. I wonder if this is a symptom of my problem. http://community.thermaltake.com/index.php?/topic/1466-volos-mouse-cause-of-unusual-issue/?hl=volos I've yet to RMA my mouse. I have done reboots, and reinstalls of driver/firmware, and mouse will work for a while, then it stops working properly. I'm of the feeling its a firmware/driver issue an less a hardware one.
  6. Just did thanks. Hope it can be resolved. I was really liking the mouse up until this point.
  7. United States. Yes that firmware update. Mouse was working fine then all of a sudden it started causing the issue.
  8. I was surfing the internet, then all of a sudden my computer started responding slowly. Only big symptom was that there was a continuous string of periods (.) in search boxes and such. After much online research and trouble shooting, I was at a loss. Then I got a spark of brilliance and switch out to an older mouse. This appears to fix the problem. So I tried plugging in my Volos mouse on another PC, and none of the buttons on the mouse would work. I've tried reseting all profiles on my normal PC in Volos software. Issue with continuous period seems to have vanished, but none of the buttons work on the mouse. I've reinstalled software, and firmware. Still no go. I've had this mouse for less than a month or so, and now i"m at the point of either finding some adequate solution to my problem, or returning the mouse to TT for a full refund, so that I can buy a Mouse that works properly.
  9. It would be nice if there was a manual or FAQ for how best to program the mouse, and other aspects of the mouse like the onboard memory and such. Also does anyone know how to clear or reset the memory on the mouse?

Check if all portions of the program, including shortcuts and the exe in the main folder as well have admin access. Also admin as well for installing as well.
  11. Update ! I did some more research. And you apparently have to grant full admin to every aspect from install to running the AP program. You have to make sure its checked in the compatibility tab - change settings for all users - privilege level - run this program as admin. After I did all that it worked fine.
  12. Having the same issue. Brand new install of windows 7 home premium sp1. New mother board Asrock z77 Extreme 4. Tried installing as admin, still get the Please plug in Gaming device.... Worked without issue on old PC/motherboard/windows 7. I'm at a loss of what to do to fix. Have used the latest firmwire and AP (1.4.8 and 2.0). Firmware does recognize and update.
