Retrogunner334
Hi there, I got the same problem since I have the riing quads. I had the same problems with my old Gigabyte motherboard. That was the Z390. Now I have the ASUS Z790 Hero. Same crap. Then sporadically when restarting one controller is not recognized or the other controller is not recognized. If I then uninstall the USB device in the device manager and restart it, it usually works. But not now. I tried different variants on the mainboard. Always the same failures. I even tested a USB 3 to USB 2 adapter. Always the same problem. The controllers fail at least once every 5 times. What can we do? After I restarted just 5 times and uninstalled the USB drivers several times, it still didn't work. Now I have swapped the two USB ports on the mainboard. Now it's working again. The only question is for how long.
Lewis 2
Troubleshoot by ensuring proper connection of the fan controller. Verify cables and connections to rectify the issue and regain control over RGB lighting customization for an optimal gaming experience. Retrogunner334
@Lewis 2 Everything is connected properly! Always these general answers as if you were too stupid to connect cables. Maybe you should switch from the outdated 4-pin Mol connectors to SATA connectors?! The lighting keeps failing. I then have to uninstall both USB ports in the device manager and start new ones. Sometimes even 4-5 times in a row. If it's really bad, I swap the USP connectors on the mainboard. Why is the lighting so unstable? I have the ASUS Maximum Hero 790. I previously had the AORUS Master 390. Exactly the same problem.
