TT-Jerry Posted January 2, 2024 Report Posted January 2, 2024 Hi Ripu Please kindly check few things below first 1. Is smart zero fan on or off? 2. If the smart zero fan is on, please check the comsuption of your PC. If the comsuption is under 500W, the fan should be stop working Quote
hsldn Posted February 12, 2024 Report Posted February 12, 2024 I bought Thermaltake Toughpower GF A3 850W from Amazon US but I 'm going to use this in Turkey where it is 220V. My old PSU has a switch on it where you can select between 110V or 220V. On Amazon, some users wrote that there is a switch for voltage selection, but I don't see any switch on this new Thermaltake PSU. Shall I just plug the PSU with an appropriate cable, is the selection automatic? This is the unit I bought. Dave Cook Posted January 3, 2025 Report Posted January 3, 2025 Still rocking a 1000W GF3. Latest intel on the forthcoming RTX 5090 say it will have a TDP of 575W and comes with a 12V-2x6 connector. My PSU has a 12VHPWR. Although I’ve read they’re compatible, would like to know if I’m okay regarding power and connectivity or if you recommend an upgrade. Quote
Xerloq Posted February 11, 2025 Report Posted February 11, 2025 I made a new build with the GF3 1200W and it's been great with my 3070. Today I got my hands on a 7900 XTX. The thing is, the 3070 had 2 8pin PCIe Connectors, and the 7900 XTX has 3 8 pin connectors. Turns out my PSU is missing one of the PCIe cables. Does anyone know where I can get another one? I've opened a ticket, but I don't know how long that takes and I'm anxious to get the new card up and running. Quote
Arkaeron Posted February 17, 2025 Report Posted February 17, 2025 Hi! i recently bought a GF3 paired with a 5080. PSU is working great, but im scared with the new connector 3.1 ATX that comes with my 5080. As you can see in the images, Thermaltalke 12HPWR H+ connector its impossible to connect at 100% in GPU 3.1 ATX connector from RTX 50, its like a 1 mm gap. Im scared with the burning and melting issues. I asked Thermaltalke via email if they have a 12 PIN 2x6 H++ Cable that can fit perfect like nvidia connector do. I know buying a 3.1 ATX cable with shorter pins dont compile a PSU to be 3.1, but atleast the connector enters perfectly and its more secure because of shorter pins. Everyone says that 3.0 is compatible with 3.1 but in this case its not. What can i do? Do Thermaltalke have a Cable to buy with H++ config? Thanks for the help!! Quote
