Psycrow Posted January 13, 2023 Report Posted January 13, 2023 Recently RGBplus wont startup with windows 10 bootup It use to work fine and i just updated to the latest version that worked fine for few days. I belive it has something to do with an recently win 10 update where it sets RGBplus to startup when a windows user account has logged on. I dont use any logons or account for my pc since its a local pc startup. I hate to have user logons for my pc. So now RGBplus wont startup with win 10 anymore. I tryed to fix it in the task schedule where you can sellect RGBplus to startup without any user logins. Thats my theory. But for now RGB plus wont startup with win10

LoganDaniel Posted April 11, 2023 Report Posted April 11, 2023 If you don't use any logons or accounts for your PC, there may still be some settings related to user accounts that are affecting RGBplus startup. Go to the Windows Settings app and click on "Accounts." Make sure that your account is set as the default and that there are no other user accounts on your PC that could be interfering with RGBplus startup.

paulinemike Posted May 19, 2023 Report Posted May 19, 2023 If you believe that the issue is due to a recent Windows 10 update, then the best way to solve this problem would be to go into the Task Scheduler and reinstate the task to start up without requiring a user login. You can do this by going to Task Scheduler > Task Scheduler Library > Microsoft > Windows > UpdateOrchestrator > Reboot and setting the task to ‘Run Whether User Is Logged On Or Not’. This should enable RGBplus to startup with your Windows 10 bootup. Оutsourced it services mlsdev: 1. darronclarison412 Posted September 1, 2023 Report Posted September 1, 2023 It sounds like the issue with RGBplus not starting up with Windows 10 bootup might indeed be related to changes in Windows settings, possibly due to a recent Windows update. Your theory about user logins affecting it is plausible. To resolve this, you can try the following steps: Open the Task Scheduler. Navigate to Task Scheduler Library > RGBplus (or the related task). Right-click on it and select Properties. In the General tab, ensure "Run with highest privileges" is checked. In the Triggers tab, verify that the trigger is set to "At startup." If the issue persists, you might want to reach out to New Version RGBplus support or forums for specific guidance on resolving this behavior. They may have insights or updates related to Windows compatibility.

neilson Posted February 25, 2024 Report Posted February 25, 2024 Don't worry, skipping user logons is still possible! Here's a condensed guide: Check Task Scheduler: Ensure the "At startup" trigger is enabled for RGBplus and "Run with highest privileges" is checked. Reinstall RGBplus: Completely uninstall RGBplus from your system using an application uninstaller like Revo Uninstaller and download the latest version. But remember to uncheck the auto-start option during installation. Modify Registry (Optional): For advanced users, create a "TT RGB Plus" value in the Run registry key with the executable path. Seek Support: If all else fails, contact Thermaltake for specific troubleshooting or updates. Bonus tips: Run system file scans, disable security software temporarily, and adjust UAC settings if needed. Remember, editing the registry carries risks, so proceed cautiously!
