popololo Posted November 24, 2018 Report Share Posted November 24, 2018 hello I have since this week a power supply Thermaltake iRGBPlus 1250 w http://fr.thermaltake.com/Alimentation/Toughpower_iRGB_Series_/_/C_00003081/Toughpower_iRGB_PLUS_1250W_Titanium/Design.htm I plugged all the cables, my computer works very well. However, this power supply has an RGB Fan configurable with the TT DPS G PC app application which is downloadable from the manufacturer's website. https://dps.thermaltake.com/en/product the installation of the application is going well. But when I open this application, a message "Could not set up a connection with power supply. Please make sure your Thougpower DPS is successfully connected to computer via USB. " and the application window remains empty with this message in bulk in a window beside I infer that I have to plug the USB plug. But I did!! I plugged the miniUSB of the power supply to my internal USB 2.0 socket of the motherboard (Rampage VI EXTREME) ? popololo Posted March 9, 2019 Author Report Share Posted March 9, 2019 ok, thanks for the new USB cable, but is not work ! so i receive a message of Moderator who said go RMA but i tried the power 1250w on a second computer, and when i turned on the computer , BOUM, big firecracker noise , smoke and odd smell !!!! i was afraid my second couputer would be broken (CPU or GPU or MC) but no, just the power !!!!!! #### so i call my computer shop "LDLC France" for RMA he said no problem, send free your power 1250w i send, i receive a new one , and surprise ….. all works perfectly, just turned on my big computer, and update automaticaly, rgb shine, app open easy !! all is good OK, problem is finish for me, thanks all, now i have a amazing TT computer (power, tower, cable, fan …) a little long but free and save bye all, thanks MR moderator DarrenYangTT spm, all is OK now...
