  1. I already checked with a sample here. What I wanted to see was how your HDD tray looked when trying to mount on the back with the screws from the front cage.
  2. thetrooper, Some PSU models, based on wattage, have different "pin-outs" for each model on the PSU side. For this if you use a cable that is not compatible, it could cause some major issues. The pins will always be the same going into the device, just not from the PSU. Here is our Cable compatibility List: Individually Sleeved Cable Compatible PSU List_12112014.pdf Ideally, you would want to look for an extension off the PSU cable. Other option, get the cable, match the pin-outs and all you would need to do is remove some pins to change them around if needed. Check with a voltmeter to confirm the pin-out on the stock cable first.
  3. I have the Black V2 at home, while I do use a different DPI @desktop than in game, I do have custom DPI settings for each game I play. You can adjust your game sensitivity without having to worry about disabling windows, plus, if you disable it, then after you get out of game, you would have to enable it again. Give us some more details on the game you are playing if that's ok and what it is you want to accomplish with the mouse. Happy to check if I can to recreate.
  4. You can call us today - 800.988.1088 more info in my Signature
  5. BCassels, If you are talking about the fan speed control, make sure you change it from "Auto" to Manual" in order to make adjustment on the fan speeds. The Fan options:1,2,3.. you should be able to select them without anything even plugged it, just needs the molex connected for the display. Keep us posted on what has happened since you got it, sorry for the delay with my reply. We also have tech support you can call us to discuss as well, info in my sig.
  6. Thermalman, Can you send me a pic? "If the cages are used and you want to mount drives in the back of the case the #### screws get in the way."
  7. Give our USA support a call, we can check and quote you a price for the V71 fan if we have it. 800.988.1088
  8. Yaapelsinko, Unfortunately, doing this can cause issues with the product as the cable type and connection is not designed for this. I would also wan to bring some caution to you soldering and modifying the connections as well. Our newer models have more support for GPU connections that require 6+2 PCI-E connections, you might want to look into an upgrade
  9. Benji, Unfortunately I cannot give details on how to disassemble a product. If you do want to customize it to your liking, just keep in mine the warranty on it if you do
  10. Jason, Riing Fan Orange will be available soon, we have shipment already in process. Here is the info on our website: http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Cooler/Case_Fan_/Riing/C_00002682/Riing_12_LED_Orange/design.htm http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Cooler/Case_Fan_/Riing/C_00002681/Riing_14_LED_Orange/design.htm We are looking into other colors as well to intro in, thanks for the feedback on Purple.
  11. Benji, The Poseidon Z Keyboard will default to the level 2 brightness. You can adjust the setting on the brightness from OFF to max brightness, but the keyboard will not save/store the settings.
  12. Brown switch will be coming shortly after blue. Will have more information on it later. Yes, both models will be MSRP $119.99
  13. Kyuui1, Contact our support and we can look into replacing the parts under warranty. We can also discuss with you in more detail. Info in my signature.
  14. Themadtux, Welcome to the Tt community! For the Poseidon RGB, we will have them available early July in the USA. The Blue Switch version will be available first. http://www.ttesports.com/Keyboard/195/POSEIDON_Z_RGB_Blue_Switch_Edition_/productPage.htm?a=a
  15. Chris, Welcome to the Tt Community! The Core V71 fan controller built-in on top is proprietary to the included case fans only. (200mm) You can contact us directly and we can help with a replacement on the fan PCB board under warranty. There is no temp control, just the fan speed options controlled by the button on the chassis.
  16. Thermalman, The built in fans run around 1000 RPM for front/rear. For the HDD/SSD back panel installation, you can use (2) of the drive cages from the front to mount on the back side panels. There is also SSD mounting holes on the back of the motherboard section for additional drives as well. You should be able to see the mount holes, but just note for mechanical drives, you have to use the cages and the (2) locations for those.
  17. Core X9 side panels are back in stock! https://store.thermaltakeusa.com/inside03.php?s=1&k=195&a=2090 For customers outside of the USA, please contact our support in your area for more information. http://my.thermaltake.com/ctGeneral.aspx
  18. Bogdan, Thanks for the question! The fans built into the Core V71 are 3-pin fan connections and will work with the Commander FT fan controller, but you will loose some features that are proprietary to the fan controller on the case. The LED lighting will no longer be adjustable, but you should be able to adjust the fan speed without issue. As for he Water 3.0 Ultimate, it uses PWM fans which have a 4-pin connection that is not compatible with the fan controller. I would suggest to use the splitter and connect it to your motherboard header for function and adjustment. And since Computex is now done, we did announce a PWM version of the commander FT to support 4-pin models, so look forward to that if you want more control for PWM fans.
  19. Wakyz, Sorry to hear the drive bay was damaged, we can swap it out for you so you can continue your build and not have to send in the entire case. Contact our USA support team and we will get it taken care for you. Contact info in my Signature below, keep me posted if you need anything else.
  20. Yoshimitsu411, Welcome to he forums and thank you for the questions. Here are my replies to your questions: Question 1: I noticed one of the USB 3.0 options on the top of the case does not work, the one behind it does and so do the two USB 2.0s. Have I done something incorrectly? - Check the connection to the motherboard, suggest to reseat it and test. Since it is a 2-into-1 cable, if one is working and the other is not, it may be defective and we can swap out just the part to replace under warranty. Question 2: Is there a way to turn the LED lights OFF by default when the PC starts up? - No, the fans have built in LEDs, the only way to turn them off is to cycle the options until you turn it off or replace the fans with non-LED fans, but then you loose the fan control options as the fans included with the V71 are pro unique to the case. Question 3: I added one more fan to the top of the case (the case comes with one as standard) and I have plugged it into the motherboard, this works fine but I am unable to control it's speed by using the High and Low fan buttons like the other fans in the case. I understand this could be because it is not connected to the fan controller. Any suggestions on how to connect the new fan to the fan controller? - The built-in fan controller only supports (2) 3-pin headers for the included (2) 200mm fans. You would want to get a fan controller and use a PWM fan for control options.
  21. great, yea give them some time to review as well. They will need to check the availability of the part and final the pricing if we have it. Either way email/phone we can look into this.
  22. Just to confirm you emailed ttsupport@thermaltakeusa.com correct? Also, for faster service, give us a call, its free.
  23. Call our support and they can check on pricing for you to see if we can offer some extra parts. Support info in Sig
  24. Thermalman, You take out the cage from the HDD rack and you can mount it on the back with the clips. It take a min to figure out how it installs, just line up the bottom "hooks" and the top should latch in. PM me if you need a pic or something
  25. Hi, Unfortunately the 200mm fans included with the V71 are proprietary to the fan controller with the chassis. Basically they will only work with the case controller and same goes if you want to use another fan with the built-in controller.
