  3. Very good afternoon friends I have a problem with my power supply (iRGB Plus 850W 80 Plus Platinum Full Modular), it gives me the typical error code h_0x0001, I am using a motherboard (Asus ROG Strix X570-E Gaming). However when connecting with the miniUSB cable from the source to the USB 2.0 connector board, it fails to recognize the power supply. Please I need help to solve the problem. -I already tried disconnecting all the fans and connecting only the source and even so it keeps giving error. -I have also tried connecting the source with a mini-USB cable to an external USB connector on the motherboard and it doesn't work either. -Finally I tried installing the Software with the latest version of DPS G PC and TTRGB-PLUS, and this has not worked either. -Playing the connector does not make any signal and does not appear in the device list of my device manager on the computer, nor do they turn on the RGB lights. I am frankly desperate. Any help would be very helpful please. I have already written to TT technical support, but they still do not give me an answer.
  4. Greetings, I have the 360 Floe Riing AIO water cooling kit, X1 mechanical keyboard and the Toughpower irgb plus 1000w gold edition psu. I can easily sync the Floe Riing with the psu using TT RGB plus software. I can also sync the X1 with the Floe Riing using the TT X1 software. My issue is getting the psu and keyboard to sync. When I have the Floe Riing and psu synced up though the rgb plus software and then try to sync the keyboard with TT RGB plus software using the X1 software,, the psu rgb doesn't change. I've also tried with not syncing, a combination of the programs opened and closed, but no dice. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks. software: TT RGB plus v 1.3 DPS G v 3.1.9 X1 RGB v 1.10.0 v29

  6. So, i have had this thermaltake 1200 watt toughpower PSU since late 2014, but something funky seems to be happening with it. What I need help with is determining if my problem is the PSU's fault, so thats why Im writing here. There are two problems: first, sometimes and randomly, my computer will fail to boot up. I press the power button, the system powers up for approximately a second, and then immediately shuts down without even opening the BIOS screen. It then stays off for around 5 seconds then turns on again for another single second, and the cycle continues ad infinitum. There is no anticipating this problem, and the only way to stop the power cycling is to unplug the computer. The second, and perhaps related (or maybe not) problem is found in my video card, and it is my suspicion that it is caused by the PSU. I have two XFX Double Dissipation Radeon R9 290X vid cards in a crossfire configuration. When I built this rig, I made sure to properly power the vid cards, having asked XFX what the minimum requirements and their suggestion for power was ( 1000w PSU minimum, 1200w recommended). So, the cards should have enough power, but I only ever see one, either in device manager or in the BIOS. Both cards have their lights and fans functioning, I have triple checked all wiring, and have checked the cards themselves by testing their functionality separately and independently. So, what do you guys think? Is it the PSU that might be causing these problems? Could the PSU be malfunctioning? How do I test the PSU for its functionality? Thanks for any CONSTRUCTIVE input. -LD

  8. I know this is a long shot, but I'm having a problem with a build using a Toughpower PSU, and I'd like a quick confirmation before I start tearing down a complicated system for tedious troubleshooting. If you watch the first 5 seconds of the video below, my Toughpower 1375 starts up, all 3 indicator LEDs go to green, then it shuts down, sits idle for ~3 seconds, then starts up and immediately shuts down again, etc etc. Can you confirm that that generally looks like a component problem (aka is that normal Thermaltake PSU behavior if the motherboard is DOA)? Thanks... Video of system: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mSGcYNpXTc (the pumps are running on a second PSU (not shown) during the video)
