Tt-Van
I am looking into getting a hard drive for my Rig and I have no idea what would be a suitable amount of disk space. Western Digital has a 1TB hard drive and that seems like a lot but what do you think? I don’t plan on playing a lot of games on it but I do edit video and sound so I would love to be able to store a lot of footage. What would you recommend? HappyBuddhaman
I have 2, 1TB HDD's in RAID 0 with a 128GB boot drive. User profiles and programs on the RAID. Gopint to back it up with a 2 TB NAS. (Might go to 4 TB RIAD and NAS, haven't decided yet). For what you want to use it for 2 TB minimum for piece of mind, and get a backup. CyberDustin777
I agree 2TB is a very good amount.
Dabeavis
2 TB is more or less enough for me, seeing as I do have plenty of Roms and ISOs to store. 1 TB is also okay in tandem with an SSD.
Tt Andy
I agree 2 TB is enough but who doesn't want a petabyte HappyBuddhaman
HappyBuddhaman
I agree 2 TB is enough but who doesn't want a petabyte If I had that, I would just spend my time loading it up with stuff, just because I could. Probably wouldn't get anything else done! Tt Andy
Tt Andy
hahaha that's true, though i think it would be kind of hard to load it up with data these days, 2TB has actually lasted me over 2 years and still about 40% empty HappyBuddhaman
