HappyBuddhaman got a reaction from Tte Martin in LEVEL 10 M Owner Club
I love this thing, got it in red. Heard SO many complaints about the DPI switch, and yes, this mouse will take some getting used to, but after you train yourself a little on it, it's amazing. My thumb never hits the DPI switch accidentally, but I do find myself changing the DPI to suit whatever I'm doing. My mother in law was looking at my build the other day, looked at my mouse and said "wow, that's an awesome model car". She knows I'm a big NASCAR fan, looked at the mouse and thought it was a model NASCAR......no mom, that's a mouse.
Do NOT use this mouse with a fabric mouse pad, it sucks!! Don't know if it's the mouse design or the pad, but it "sticks" and doesn't glide easily over the pad, at least the one I'm using. Ordering the DRACONEM pad tomorrow, thinking that will fix the issue. Also, use a large pad, the small "pad" on the underside of the mouse, by the wire, gets stuck if it goes over the edge of the mousepad.

Hi, Happy Buddhaman
Happy Halloween~
Thanks for the professional suggestions ~
I used to use Level 10 M on fabric mouse, but due to the aluminum base sometimes it could cause unconformable movements especially around the edge. I think Draconem could solve this problem!

I'm the guy with the Pledge Wipes, cotton swabs, and a bottle of rubbing alcohol, especially for my keyboard! I'm neurotic with keeping it clean. Keep positive air pressure in your case and it will cut down on dust collection.

Since this became a pinned thread I shall post in it. A few quick tips if you plan on buying this mouse pad is the four rubber feet on each corner do not stay on if you move it. I applied a small dab of adhesive in each one and have not had a problem since. As for the bungee, instead of adhesive I used double stick tape so you have the option to move it around. Also the mouse cord does not like to stay in the slot provided in the bungee if moved or tugged on. I have the Black Combat White mouse which comes with a pre-attached velcro strap for winding up the cord for storage purposes, which I then wrapped around the bungee to keep it together. I used a second piece of velcro to make sure it doesn't move. Overall I love it! It is well made and can be cleaned very easily. If you have any more questions about this mouse pad , please feel free to ask in this thread and I will reply asap.

I'm ordering this via Amazon tomorrow. Can't stand fabric mouse pads.

After reading a lot of reviews about a lot of different headsets, I decided to get these in black. I heard a lot of complaints about the base level, I don't know, maybe people wanted artificial base, or wanted to blow their eardrums out listening to EDM at some nuclear level, (nothing wrong with EDM) but I'm really enjoying these. If paired with a good sound card or good quality on board audio (I'm using mine with the ASUS Formula VII MB, which has AMAZING on-board audio), they sound pretty #### good. They are very flat, which I really appreciate, because I can control the sound easier than headphones that crank the bass and kill the treble.
One piece of advice, could use a clip on the wire close to the volume control. The volume control keeps getting caught right under the lip of my desk, if I could clip that volume control to my shirt, would just make things a little easier. Something I'll add myself.

I clean mine out every 6 months. I use compressed air, a vacumm and wet/dry wipes I completely strip the case down and take all the components out of it. Normally takes the better part of a day but it must be done!

Thanks Andy. Still having an issue and I can't confirm what component is the troublemaker. Posted it here ----> http://community.thermaltake.com/index.php?/topic/751-water-30-extreme-formula-vii-rog-front-base-issue/#entry4235

That sounds stylish. I know some people do and some people dont. It just depends on the person.

HappyBuddhaman got a reaction from Tt-Van in What is the most useless part to put in your build?
Honestly, a CD drive, I only have one in mine now because I had some CD media to install, after that, it's useless. I'm going to rip it out and keep an external drive for the few times I'll need one. Might put this in instead when I do a total liquid cooling loop, since I'll have a dual bay available.

Everything is digital, games, music, movies, occaisionally I'll buy a hard to find a music CD, and hook up an external CD drive to rip it, or burn a copy of some downloaded music but that's about it.

HappyBuddhaman got a reaction from Tt-Vincent in White Toughpower DPS 1250
I have the Level 10 GT Snow edition. I'm also using an ASUS Formula VII MB but I'm painting the armor white. Need a strong power supply because I'll be adding dual SLI cards (possibly dual processor) next year, along with a custom liquid cooling loop, that's why I'm looking at 1200+ watts (currently have the EVGA Supernova 1300 G2). Was also going to change out the cables with red single braided cables. Black works, but that white just pops!! I'm thinking on removing the side fan when I water cool and replacing it with some plexiglass, so the PSU would be visible. It's a work in progress.

So glad to know you're interested in our digital power supply.
We’re still working on the platinum digital power supply as we want it to be perfect when we officially launch it.
But for the color of the housing, can you let us know if black also suits you?

What I'm currently working on. Won't be running for another month or two. Inspiration for this was the anime The Ghost In The Shell. I wanted to build something that I thought would look like a PC in that movie, and the Snow Edition Level 10 has the perfect look IMO.
Parts list -
Case - Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition
MB - ASUS Formula VII
CPU - Intel i7 4790k - planning to OC
CPU Cooling - Thermaltake AIO Water Extreme 3.0
PSU - EVGA Supernova 1300 G2 (Wanted the White Toughpower 1250 DPS you had at CES, wasn't released so far, but if you're feeling generous.....)
GPU - nVidia 650 ti - (replacing next year to dual GPU's running SLI, using the current one from an older PC that went bad)
RAM - 16 GB G.SKILL Trident X 2400 (2 8GB sticks)
Fans - 2 x ENERMAX T.B. Vegas Duo UCTVD14A 140mm 2 Color (Blue/Red) LED Case Fan
3 x ENERMAX T.B.VEGAS SINGLE UCTVS12P-R 120mm Case Fan
Mouse - Thermaltake Level 10 gaming mouse - Red
Headphones - Thermaltake Level 10
Keyboard - Thermaltake MEKA G UNIT red illuminated Cherry MX Black
ASUS ROG Front Panel
SSD - Samsung 128 GB Boot drive
HDD - 2 1TB HDD's running in RAID 0
Dual Monitor, will be expanding to tri-monitor set up in the future.
After replacing the video card next year, will install a custom water cooling loop. Keeping an eye out for the cooling parts Thermaltake had on diaplay at the 2014 CES, might cut the top and make a custom top and put in a three fan rad. Once it's up and running soon, it will be Project 2501 - Version .5, since it'll still be a work in progress.

I have a small dab of glue and a clamp on it, I'll check it tonight when I get home from work. If the glue locks the adjustibility, I'll go through the customer portal and try to get a replacement, thanks for your help!

Hello HappyBuddhaman and welcome to our forum!
Glad you like the sound quality and comfort! This is not a very common defect. You can get a replacement through our customer portal if you'd rather not stick with the applied workaround.
I have also moved the topic to the headset forum in the Tt eSPORTS section.
