I too am having the same issue, "please plug-in gaming device to start the AP configuration" even after running as admin for both install and otherwise.  Running Win 8.1 x64
Volos mouse,
Volos AP 1.1.2 (and tried with 1.0)
Tried different USB port.
 
Firmware upgrade utility recognises the mouse correctly, OSD works as well.

Step2: Click your Theron Edition
Step3: Scroll Down and download AP software
 
Install and launch it

After waiting for a few months I finally got one of my own.  This is a very sturdy, well made mouse pad for the gamer in everyone.  With four rubber feet on each corner, and two spare feet in the box, it doesn't move across the table.  The cord bungee keeps the mouse cord off the table so it doesn't get tangled on items on your desk.  I have found my new favorite mouse pad, get yours today.

Hey guys, I recently took a trip with my good friend Ben and his family to London. We went to the History Museum to learn about whales for one of the Children's school project.

@Zelonier, if you try to setup OS X command key from Windows, try the 'Windows' key (the one, that used to open menu "Start" on older Windows versions like XP or 98).
I believe this is the same key code as command key on OS X.

@veelck, thnx man. I got bootcamp a while ago onto my mac. And on the windows version, the command key works as the windows key. So who knows, you might be right. Ty. I try it now
 
*update*   Thnx man. It works great. Windows key=command key.
But it would still be greatly appreciated to make an OS version so it wouldnt be so troubling for me to switch from mac to windows all the time just to change my profiles and stuff.

Hey Zelonier, I'll feedback your request to the team. 

I like the Theron.. fits well (great for claw grip)  - my only gripe is the position of the 2 left buttons. The front button is impossible to click without changing the grip on the mouse.
The buttons should be top/bottom on the left.. not front /back.
(the MS Sidewinder has the best left buttons... but the wheel breaks on them)

Exchanged for a new one and all good now

i like the brown...not as loud

Tt Certified Brown Switches are my top choice when I'm gaming. I love the feel - and it doesn't wake the girlfriend up when I'm having a late night gaming session.

Hey ServetCarey,  we do not recommend taking apart the SHOCK headset, as that would void warranty. 
 
It sounds like you are saying the right side of the headband adjustment works as normal, but the left side is now too loose & will not hold in position?
