  1. Hello, Please try when you can get display to check in the bios on the PCI-E slot and change from "AUTO" to Gen 3. Also, Reseat the cable and check the connections into both MB/GPU. As others said, you can try to contact our Germany office or just wait for the reply from the email you already sent. I apologize I cannot help directly, but I did send off an email to try and help with your post. -Mike
  2. Hello, Thanks for the question and welcome to the TT Community! The 2 products unfortunately do not work together, mainly due to the voltage difference between the 2 as well as the connections: RGB LED Fitting 4-pin Riing Fans 5-pin As for the Fittings, I have used 8 fittings off 1 controller without any issue. I have not tested any further than 8, but if you have 2 kits, it should not be an issue, just watch any decrease in the brightness adding more.
  3. One thing I see more is the application not initializing at boot up and then users trying to load the app before it has loaded. This is important as the software will not work until the app has booted up automatically. ( you need to see the icon down by the clock in order for the app to work properly) I have tested several on windows 10, no issue. Either you connected to the MB is not communicating, cables are not connected (Try to reseat everything with the system off) or the controller is just bad, it happens. If you cannot get anything out if it after reinstalling the software and checking the connections, it could just be DOA and a replacement is likely the fastest way to resolve. Try on another system if you can... Do a fresh install of your OS...
  4. Hi, The manual has been fixed on the website: http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Cooler/Cooling_Accessory_/Fan_Controller_/C_00002651/Commander_FT_Touchscreen_Fan_Controller/Support.htm
  5. Hi, The Cooler has multiple socket support. The 1156 should work for 1151 as the only other bracket included is for AMD sockets.
  6. Hello, Is see the link is broken, will get it updated on the websites soon. The Commander FT is just a fan controller, it will adjust the RPM of the fans by design. Basically treat it just like if you connected it to your motherboard header, you have the adjustment in the bios just the same. It just adds convenience with the bay front panel for easy control and of course free up headers on the MB and/or give you more
  7. It really can depend on the components you are using, your MB and VGA could have an issue where the cable, even a replacement cable may not resolve the issue. There are other cables on the market, you can welcome to purchase them as the riser cable we include is not a guarantee. Specs always help when you have a concern like this so we know what you are working with. Also, please make sure to contact our support for assistance with a replacement. (See 1st post for details) I have seen and will say this again, several users are working fine, it is just hit or miss. I have seen personally, GTX 1080's in SLI working fine and giving full performance scores. I have seen more issues with non-reference GPU's and GPU that have modified PCB from the original NVIDIA spec. Also, to be honest, I see more problems with AMD than NVIDIA too. There are other solutions out there if the replacement is not working for you, especially after multiple replacements. Contact us and will work with our region teams to help with another replacement.
  8. Hi all, Cable requests are being processed as soon as possible. The time frame is based on availability of the cable for the region you are located. (Some can take longer depending on where you live) I also want to update everyone, cs@thermaltake.com has now changed to info@thermaltake.com Any email recently sent to the old email, I suggest you resend to the new one as we are transitioning to the new platform. This is to help with some issue we have had in the past to improve our support globally.
  9. Hi, Wow that is Old school case right there, nice! I am not sure if we have parts still for this, but you can check with our team to see if they have it. Call our support: 800.988.1088, if we got it, we can quote it for you. You will need to call on this and make sure you have the part number ready so they can look it up
  10. Hello, Thanks for the question. For the BlacX Duets and all of our storage models for the most part, cloning is not available. This is a simple Copy/Paste device, no software is included, just plug and play This is for transferring data from one drive to the other only and you cannot copy system files while on the OS.
  11. Emissary_of_Pain, I see now you have the KingPin cards, nice! I have seen these, they are not small and I dont think it will fit at all. Those cards coolers stick up above the bracket like 1 inch.. I dont think that config would work unless the card height was the same or lower than the bracket height. Either way, you can still mount 2 cards directly into the motherboard and still get a great look. I would go performance myself to have the 2 cards, I have 980Ti's myself and love them
  12. Hi everyone, I apologize for the delay in my replies, I am not directly handling cable requests outside of the USA. If you are in the USA and have not received a reply from yet, please contact me directly ASAP. (email in my Sig) For our customers outside of the USA, I am forwarding your requests to our HQ team to sort and ship out. I know there are some delays due to stock depending on where you are located. You are all welcome to contact me if you are continuing to have problems, I can help escalate.
  13. Hello, Welcome to the TT Community! Yes you have more room to have it extend out more to the right side width wise. Just might start to cover the pass-through holes on the SSD mounting on the right said wall. If you want to split 2 cards like that it should be ok, but it will come down to the height on the card going into the motherboard, but the spacing is tight doing 2 GPU that way, see below. it could work, just depends on the GPU's Here is some pics to help
  14. Hi, The Thermaltake Riing Fan RGB controllers correct? They would have to be independent from the Hue system. I dont understand the question very well sorry. Help with some details on what you want to do and will do our best! Welcome to the Tt Community!
  15. Hi, Are you using the latest version of the software? Download here: http://ttpremium.com/product/premiumrgb/ This is the same version I am using in the videos. If the controller is non responsive and you have reinstalled the software and checked the connections it may be defective. Contact our support to troubleshoot further on this and we can swap out the controller for you under warranty to see if that resolves the issue. Contact info in my sig below. Keep us posted.
  16. Hi, Please see our new videos on how to setup and configure the Riing TT Premium Fans: http://community.thermaltake.com/index.php?/topic/52067-riing-tt-premium-edition-rgb-led-fans-how-to-videos/ The power is a direct Molex to PSU with a 4-pin power connection that installs directly into the controller. It should have been included with the product. Let us know any update so we can help.
  17. Hi, Thanks for the post. Give our support a call if you are in the USA and we can check on a replacement part for you. If you are outside the USA, you can contact our global support here: cs@thermaltake.com
  18. Hi, Thickness is not going to be the issue if you go with a 360mm rad. even the thin ones will block the back side of the ODD. This is an X71, so I would suggest by design of this model to use the bottom chamber for your radiator, if you are planning to run multiple, suggest secondary in the front, not the top if you want ODD full support. I have installed 64mm thick rads with 25mm fans on the bottom, you could go thicker, but should be good with this. Core X9 Again would say 64mm thick, but using it on the bottom side (Lower chamber) as it has allocated space specifically there for radiators. Our largest (High Capacity) model radiator we offer are 64mm thick.
  19. Hi all, We worked on some new videos to help with the questions on the new Riing TT Premium Fans. - Make sure when connecting up your controller to the system your system is off. - Check all the connections to make sure they are secured and installed correctly. - On boot up the fans should light up red (Default) - After software installed, please do a shut down to sync controller (Only when software is not responsive) - On Cold boot, wait for icon to show up (Down by clock) before launching software - Needs time to initialize - If no icon shows up by clock, there is a communication issue, try this to resolve: - Make sure power is dedicated and properly connected (Pins can be pushed out during plug in) - Run Icon application in installation folder to force icon by clock - Do not run program as administrator - Only install software into default folder - Try another USB header (Make sure you plug into correct port, wrong port can cause damage to controller on power on) - Check device manager for any flags that could be related to the issue Setup: Software:
  20. Hi DAANY, Thanks for the post so we can assist. What are your system specs and OS? We have some new videos going through the setup and then the software here: Setup: Software: Check it out and see if that might help. Make sure the power is connected directly into the PSU, no adapters and such. Do not unplug and reconnect while the system is on and running to avoid damage to the controller. Call our support team to open a ticket and we can swap the controller out to see if that clears up the issue if nothing else works.
  21. Bou87, Thanks for the details. Can you provide me with what motherboard Make/Model you are using? From the looks of your reply you got everything hooked up. The software should load up automatically (By Default) once installed, but if you dont get the icon after installation something is blocking the pass-though. Unfortunately it does not matter if something else work on the header, it is more complicated than just simple function unfortunately. What about other USB header port, you get the same result? Do you have any other system to try this on to compare? The Controller could just be bad.. Not leaving that out. If you cant seem to get it to work and especially if it does not work on another system all you need likely then is a new controller. We can swap it out under warranty, contact our support for details.
  22. Andy, Thank you for the update, happy to hear you are narrowing down the issue. Hope you are back up and gaming soon! Check grounding with that motherboard, maybe test it out of the case? -Mike
  23. Hi, Reading over your post, what does this mean? My PC is powering up after Shutdown via Power button (on case) or Shutdown command from OS. So you shut down and your PC turns back on automatically? The way you explain this I dont understand. More details, we can try and help.
  24. Yes, we are still accepting Riser cable replacements. Who did you email? Please send all requests to ttsupport@thermaltakeusa.com Feel free to contact me, my email below, send me an email and attach this email you sent a week ago in your reply. -Mike
  25. Hi, Thanks for the post so we can help. What OS are you using?is it up to date? If you are not getting any RPM, the software is not loading and passing through to the OS side. Make sure you have the USB header connected to the correct port on the motherboard. If you have multiple, try the other one. Once you install the software and load it up and get this issue, do a shut down. Boot back up and BEFORE you load the software check for the icon down by the clock. (If no icon by the clock there is a problem) ONCE the icon shows up by the clock, dbl click on the icon to load the software. Hint: Don't load the software right away on a cold boot, the software has to initialize first, (Meaning icon by clock) then run the software and see if you get function. If you have the same issue, uninstall the software and reinstall it, rinse & Repeat and see what happens. Also, make sure you have the latest software version, found here: http://ttpremium.com/product/premiumrgb/ Important: DO NOT run the software as administrator, it disables some functions and the default setting should be fine. Keep us posted!
