Starting to put the insides together. Merlin's Lab is chaotic which i think represents the character well
Pipes run down to passthroughs. Coolant will be blue when its all filled
Crazy happy with how the table and chairs have turned out! My replacement RAM also arrived hence the 2 colours as 1 stick arrived broken.
GPU is a RX480 as my 1070 also arrived broken... Australian Couriers must really hate me...
I made all the tables and chairs. Books, glasses and little bottles were purchased from a miniature store.

OK so a small but quick update on the assembly work on the rig, some bits have failed to turn up. But I must soldier on despite this and make a few changes to the layout inside.
Main thing left to do is to sort out sata cable tiding, and clean everything up, I hope by some miracle some things turn up before final photo shoot later on .. let’s hope they do, if so sata drives can be moved to original planned location, if not oh well we all have to adapt. Stay tuned.

Final Touches... threw a GT-640 in there .."just" enough clearance.
Loading OSX 10.10.2 Yosemite... For those not familiar with OSX... what your looking at is the Apple Welcome Screen. Absolutely no problem or commands needed... too easy.

doing a few more small bits today, but I thought i would share a rough render of the plan I have, there will be some differences in the final build (extras added) and the internals is not final.
Just wanted to wet your appetite with what i am trying to achieve.

I am hoping Santa Clause will give me a ASUS STRIX GTX 980 DirectCU II for Christmas because this build just about sucked up all my savings.....

Chinese New Year 2015 will be the year of the goat. Red represent this festivity but also my favorite color. That's why i'm using this gradient of red/black. The "2015" in the front is a simple design combine the numbers and the "goat", same for the window engraved on top.
For decoration, i paint some chinese ornaments in the sides, red of course.
No fancy hardware here.
This is my humble media desktop, using the small but powerfull MSI E350IA-E45, great for HD video, office tools and even some games. The best at all is its low energy comsuption and very low noise.

When I started my first modding project with Thermaltake, I was not really sure what I wanted to achieve with this build. How to make it a part of what I do, taking into account what I have done for several years with my car hobby and paint hobby and bring it into full throttle for a unique system, a Thermaltake system that I am proud to say is my own.

First Step was to take the chassis completely apart and send off the frame to get it chromed. This process took about a month and required sandblasting off the stock finish, while going through the process of being copper plated, polished, nickel plating, then chrome plating and finally polished.
The end result looks like this:
Now before we get started, here is the color I chose for the body panels. This is HoC (House of Color) Candy Tangerine Orange "UK08-BC02" - http://www.houseofkolor.com/speedshapes/speedshapes_urethanes.jsp
Now back to the Chrome... Here is some of the pictures I took in the office to show my friends of the first big step I took into this build!
