Thanks for checking out my build log, I have been lucky enough to have been pick (1 of 5) to be apart of the Thermaltake UK Modding Trophy 2018, It’s been 2 years since the last one, I am very honored to have been chosen. Hello, so somehow this novice of a modder has been chosen to be one of the five competitors in this years Thermaltake Modding Trophy! Words cannot describe how much this means to me nor could I tell you the challenge ahead this brings to me as newcomer on the modding scene, I sure feel like I have a lot to prove! My design of course got me in to the competition and that is what I call '20th Century TT' so let me tell you where the idea came from although it's pretty obvious to most. As soon as I heard the competition was Thermaltake's 20th anniversary the 20th Century Fox movie studios came right to me, I thought it was a good idea and what do you know, apparently it is and I can finally show you all the design that got me here. I'm proud to be in this position and to show you all what I can do! The Main Hardware 1 x Thermaltake Level 20 XT chassis 1 x Thermaltake M360 Plus water-cooling kit 1 x Thermaltake 850W Toughpower ‘SYNC’ Edition PSU 1 x Asus Socket AM4 Motherboard (model TBC) 1 x Asus Nvidia-based graphics card (model TBC) 1 x AMD Ryzen 7 2700X CPU 1 x Adata SX600 128GB M.2 SSD 1 x Adata M.2 RGB heatsink 1 x Adata Spectrix D41 3,000MHz 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 At the moment I'm still gathering a few items that I will need and soon discovered that some of the items I originally planned are no longer available so will have to search elsewhere, which isn't as easy as it sounds but not to worry. I'll update again once I have more on the way so this post may be quiet for a week or so, I just wanted to get my head in the door and say hello. First package for the build, we got this on the 28th of September for the opening ceremony at Scan HQ and what an awesome day that was all round! Second delivery was two packages, we got them last week and oh my where am I suppose to put all of this? And what a beautiful case it is! Sorry for stock photo I got excited and couldn't keep it in one piece long enough for a photo. Here's a little progress I've made over the past day, I've taken every piece of metal that isn't riveted away from the chassis and plan to paint it antique gold to help keep in with the theme, I've of course added some glitter to the two large front plastic columns, I couldn't help myself with that! I somewhat feel like it is a part of me now, I've used it on all my builds but none was as over the top as the first but that was for my daughter so was to be expected, anyhow I certainly feel it got my name out there, so less about me and more about the build in question. Not only did I paint all the metal removable but also the dust filters! Albeit a couple of them are on the bottom of the case and won't be seen but I didn't see no reason not to do them, it'll please me at the very least. I''ll have to re-do the motherboard tray as too much spraying has really buggered my wrist, from an old injury so that'll be on hold for the next few days at least, in the meantime I do plan on finding somewhere somewhat local that can supply me some acrylics, it's harder than you think to find antique gold vinyl! I'll also update with some more of the pictures from the work on the filters and such when I get around to finishing the motherboard tray so stay tuned and thanks for looking! Some more stuff came for the build and I managed to finish the motherboard tray this time around but I also had to do the redo the front columns due to an issue with the glitter I was using. Thermaltake M360 water cooling kit & Pacific W4 Plus CPU water block. Thermaltake Pacific PR22-D5 Pump & res combo. Some Thermaltake tubing, liquid, fittings and pipe bending kit, despite this will be my first time water cooling I think I have everything I need. Thermaltake ToughPower Grand RGB 850 Thermaltake Pacific Rad Plus LED Panel & Lumi Plus Oh the glorious Thermaltake Riing Plus fans! Oh what is this... It only the Thermaltake Pacific V-RTX Plus! Last and not least the motherboard tray fitted in the chassis, looking very gold at this moment indeed and there is more to come... I may need to think about how I go about this as it's very reflective. No update just yet but we do have some shots of the beautiful Thermaltake Pacific V-RTX Plus GPU block! Sadly I had to change the colour scheme slightly due to not being able to source any more antique gold acrylic, so now it's just gold! I've also done a little progress too, tomorrow I should get around to putting the block on the GPU! (Should be fun). Anyways hope you like what you see because there's even more incoming, for some it may be a little too much but right now I think it's going to look better than I expected! I got the GPU block on, no issues other than my heart rate was double of what it should of been during the process. Some of you may of noticed the little detailing I've done on the GPU backplate, I'm glad I didn't do more than that, I think it's a nice subtle touch, anything more would of been over the top... If it's not already. Forgot to add an image of the side panel that will be used for the left side of the case and starts to set off the theme I have for this build.

Good afternoon everyone! I am proud to have been selected as one of the 5 competitors in the UK Trophy. Honestly humbled and look forward to watching my own and everyone else's builds evolve. What is ''SteamPunk 20'' This is one of my bonkers ideas that take over my brain at 11pm at night. I don't want to give away too much, but i will say this. Good old fashioned original steampunk, with electric motors and ofc some steam :p (Oil based don't panic) Copper pipes, lots of antique brass, leather and over 200 solid steel bolts! Let's not even start with the glass, acrylics and custom made metal badges and logos. I also may attend events wearing a top hat and with a scary looking steampunk cane. (For effect ya'll) System Specs 1 x Thermaltake Level 20 XT chassis 1 x Thermaltake M360 Plus water-cooling kit 1 x Thermaltake 850W Toughpower ‘SYNC’ Edition PSU 1 x Asus Socket AM4 X470-F gaming 1 x Asus Duel RTX 2080 1 x AMD Ryzen 7 2700X CPU 1 x Adata SX6000 256GB M.2 SSD 1 x Adata M.2 RGB heatsink 1 x Adata Gammix D10 2,400MHz 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 My design entry for now, i welcome you all to come on in and offer feedback criticism and points of view. Don't worry i won't chew your head off, i'm friendly, honest :p I know it's early days, but getting this up is a weight off my shoulders for the coming days. Thanks for looking. Craig.

I've recently finished my build but there's still one problem: the fans aren't recognized correctly. When I start the PC only one LED on the fans lights up. I use Asus Aura Sync and iCue (with a plugin) to control the lights. My current workaround is closing the iCue App once it started and then opening Aura Sync. This turns on the rest of the lights on the fans but to get them recognized separately I have to reenter the amount of LEDs. The Fans appear as one addressable header in the software btw. Does anyone know how to fix this? Floe Riing 360 Premium RGB not working on Pump Head
reeper426 replied to krisbkreeme's topic in Liquid Cooler
I am experiencing no lights on the pump head as well. Set up has not changed since it was built. Nothing added to the machine. Unfortunately, I bought the Floe Triple Riing RGB 360 TT Premium Edition CL-W158-PL12SW-A back in December of 2018. Is there a a fix to this or is it time to buy a new AIO? -

Hi everyone! iST.Modz here I am super proud to be representing United Kingdon in this amazing contest from Thermaltake. Here is some info on my modding background I started doing pc builds and repairs back in 2006 for family and gaming freinds, I done my first custom hardtube loop back in 2017 and decided to mod the case, in 2018 I entered Thermlatake UK modding trophy and won with Project Neon. I have been able to make some life time freinds along the way at events susch as Computex, Gamescon and EGX, I would like to wish all the modders good look and super stoked to be participating against such proffesional talent. Stay tuned for more updates on my project and here is a few pictures of my previous mods I built for Thermaltake. A massive thank you to all the sponsors, Thermaltake, AMD, Zotac, ASRock, Plextor, TteSPORTS and LUXA2 -
I saw and heard these mentioned in Computex 2018 videos of Thermaltake's setup. What's the estimated release time of these? Is there an estimated price point?

Hi everyone, I recently upgraded the RGB software to v1.2.6, however, when it starts, it causes my HDD to 'disconnect'. This was learned after a few hours of troubleshooting (even did a fresh install of windows lolz). It even disappears from computer management. If I don't start the RGB software, the drive never 'disconnects'. I can always see the drive being recognized by the motherboard in the BIOS. Also, if I start the software and then try to shutdown my computer, it never actually shuts down... It seems to get 'stuck' with the RGB lights still on and then after about 15 minutes will automatically boot back up again. Neither of the two issues mentioned have happened since I have uninstalled the RGB v1.2.6 software. Is there anyway around this or do I need to wait for a software version update? Below are my computer specs, CPU: Intel - Core i7-7820X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor CPU Cooler: Thermaltake - Floe Riing RGB 360 TT Premium Edition 42.34 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler Motherboard: ASRock - X299 Taichi ATX LGA2066 Motherboard Memory: Corsair - Vengeance RGB 32 GB (4 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory Storage: Samsung - 960 EVO 500 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive Storage: Seagate - Barracuda 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11 GB FTW3 HYBRID GAMING Video Card Case: Thermaltake - View 31 TG ATX Mid Tower Case Power Supply: EVGA - SuperNOVA G3 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply Other: Thermaltake CL-F054-PL12SW-A Riing Plus 12 LED RGB Radiator Fan TT Premium Edition (5 Fan Pack) Also, since the new install of windows, I have lost the settings for the fans. Can anyone point me to where I might be able to download an older version of the software? Whatever version that was out during February of 2018 never gave me an issue. Thanks!

Poseidon Z RGB - Chatter, double key strokes on Keyboards
EvanL replied to tyt2lynnin1's topic in Mechanical
I bought this keyboard in 2018, Sydney Australia. After a year or so it started randomly making double, triple or more strokes on the 'T". Now I read that you have known about this issue since at least 2016. Well, I am going to ask for my money back. You don't seem to have any leg to stand on - you knew it was a dud product when you sold it to me. So the only fair thing in this situation is to refund me in full. I don't want to have to go the consumer affairs ombudsman, fair trade minister, telecommunications ombudsman or whoever it is that looks after shady commercial operations. All I see on this site is a lot of talk and no action. It seems like Thermaltake just simply don't care about their customers at all. If this situation isn't resolved in a timely manner I am going to make a point of highlighting this issue to the relevant authorities. Thank you. -
Hi, If you go back to the old version likes 2017 or 2018, there are many updates like bug fix and new functions will be disabled. Our R&D team will have a new version this week, it should solve this issue, could you wait for a couple days?

Windows. But the problem I have is unrelated to the OS (To clarify, I'm only using Windows to test RGB Plus). Because when powering on the system, immediately the color is green. So the controller has the settings stored in hardware. How do I change those settings in hardware? Can you maybe provide me a very old version of TT RGB Plus from 2017 or 2018? I believe those versions may store the settings in hardware and newer versions of the software don't.

Ouch. After 1.5 years the Thermaltake C1000 coolant coloring came out of solution, plating my tubing, and likely destroying my RGB PC22-D5-Plus pump. I am glad that the pump / reservoir is still made and easy to re-purchase - a sign of a quality company. I had to drain what was left of the coolant, take each tube out and clean gunk with a pipe brush , install new pump, fill with new Thermaltake C1000 coolant + Red Concentrate. So this post is fair warning - drain your C1000 coolant once per year or when ever the coolant looks funky. Save your pump and unplanned down time. Photos show original purchase back in Nov 2018, followed by damage done by coolant. I show the new coolant photos, old pump I took apart for fun, and final PC after reassembly both with iPhone and with FLIR thermal camera.

Here's my two cents. I have an AMD 2700x, i also have temps being reported as 0/32 which is absolutely not correct. I've been surfing thru any potential fixes and have come across a forum linked here (https://community.thermaltake.com/index.php?/topic/64805-fix-for-riing-plus-software-116-wrong-temperature-read-outs-ryzen-incl-threadripper/) This was back in 2018. The post links an older version of the TT RGB Plus software (1.1.6 x86) that version reads the temps rather accurate but the fix that it explains does nothing and only installing the new version is useless as the problem is still there. I have a feeling it might have to do with the fact that one is a 32-bit version and the other is a 64-bit version. might be solely software at this point I can only assume lol. we shouldn't be needing to mod, make adapters or run an old version of the software. Hopefully someone reaches out, till then TT fans and products seem like a waste of money (atleast to me).

I've run into some problems trying to configure a new build, and I'm wondering if my original Riing Plus 12 TT Premium Edition fan controller is not suitable for a new Ryzen build? So I have a 3x Riing Plus 12 TT Premium RGB Fans (with a controller) and a Floe Riing RGB 240 TT Premium (2x Riing Plus fans + Floe controller) - both bought early 2018. For almost 2 years I have connected 4x fans + AIO liquid cooler to the Floe controller in a Intel build, and everything has worked fine. Now I've built a Ryzen 3600 system, and want to use all 5 fans, so currently have: - all 5 Riing Plus fans connected to the fan controller - just the AIO liquid cooler connected to the Floe controller (the daisy chain connector is blanked out to identify it as Floe controller!) - both controllers powered from molex connectors - both controllers have the DIP switch configured - fan controller is "1", floe controller is "2" - both connected to USB using the Y connector onto motherboard USB header (I can't use the daisy chain as the floe controller has the panel blanked) Despite numerous attempts, and changing DIP switches,. USB headers etc, the ONLY way I can get the fan controller 1 to be identified is if I connect it to an external USB cable. If both are connected to the Y USB cable, the fan controller 1 is not identified. Is there a controller box update / cable update that I am missing to handle a Ryzen motherboard - it would appear that only one side of the Y connector is functioning? Looking at various pictures online, my fan controller (or Floe controller) does not have the numbers embossed under the fan connector slots so you know which is which? I really don't want to have to run the USB cable from outside the case back into it. System: Ryzen 3600, Asus Strix x470-f motherboard, WD NVME drive, Corsair Power, Nitro+ RX470 Graphics Thanks, Matt

Yes, i'm having exactly the same problem. I've sent a message to support..... Hi I have a Neptune Elite RGB keyboard on a PC using windows 10. All Windows updates are auto installed. Yesterday I opened the Tt eSPORTS Software and saw there was an update. I updated as per the instructions and since then my keyboard hasn't worked. There are no lights and typing doesn't work. There is power to the USB port on the keyboard because my Neros Optical RGB mouse works. I have tried: - Uninstalling the software and re-installing - Re-booting the PC - Using different USB ports - Checking the forum. One other user has the same problem yesterday. One entry from 2018 gives a link to Dropbox for firmware but the link no longer works I'm currently using the Windows on-screen keyboard. Please Help.
