  1. i recently bought the thermaltake view 51 tg argb case and i havent been able to get any software to recognize the controller so i can control the TT case fan speeds. the only thing i can do is set the rgb colors via the gigabyte control center (and a couple other apps) but the fans (the two 20s in the front and the 12 back one) dont register anywhere to monitor/control the speed. i tried the "plug the controller in with the pc running" method and no change. also i tried a few different tt rgb plus methods. all cables are connected to the controller (after all the rgb can be controlled via the GCC) but nothing on the speeds. any help?
  2. Hello, I just build my new PC with many Thermaltake products. I have 3 controllers for 8 Riing Plus Fans, D5 Pump, W4 Plus Cpu Cooler, Rad 360 Leds and some RGB Fittings. Sadly when I go into my TT RGB Plus software there is a bug: when I switch to other controllers or this RGB synchronization button, after some time the software automatically switches back to controller 1 - this is extreme annoying when switching settings for parts in controller 2 or 3... - I already tried replacing the controllers or changing there order with the 0, 1, 2, 3 switches on the controllers, did not work everytime I start up my system the RAD360 Leds and the W4 Plus are switched off in the RGB Plus software, so I have to activate them everytime again - save button does not seem to store this information for the next start up Does someone know a fix for these issues? Overall the software and setting up the Leds works. I sometimes also have the issue, that the settings between parts of controller one and two are synchronized, but I guess that is some failure on my side, maybe I accidentally coupled the settings of the devices? Thanks for any help!
  3. I recently experienced a very specific issue I haven't been able to definitely figure out, even though I remedied it: Long story short, I have two sets of SWAFAN 120mm fans (6 fans total, configured on three ports on the controller, in arrays of 3, 2, and 1). I started getting a Fan Controller Warning pop-up while specifically playing a video game. I looked up that issue and saw that many people get it without a known cause, and nothing was out of place. Everything looked good on the case, I ignored the error. After a day of seeing that error while playing games, and in the middle of a game, I looked over to my computer case where all 6 of the SWAFANs were stopped, yet all of their LEDs were still on-- the LEDs were even still configurable in TT RGB Plus, but their fan speeds all reported as 0 rpm. Resetting and rescanning the controller did nothing to get the fans moving again. When I restarted the computer, the fans STILL were not moving, with the LEDs on-- TT RGB Plus would even load the profile the same. I tested this with 5+ restarts, unplugging the power supply and draining the remaining power, etc, and every time it came up with no fan movement. The Fan Controller Warning also displayed once TT RGB started each time. Since I bought two sets of SWAFANs, I remembered that they both came with fan controllers. Assuming first that this problem was localized to just the SWAFANs (all other fans on the computer including the fans on my Thermaltake TOUGHAIR 510 were fine), I swapped out the controller with the extra one. On reboot, the fans came up just fine and the issue was solved. So if you're having this very specific problem, swapping out the controller is probably the solution. I can assume that I was getting a Fan Controller Warning ahead of this happening because there was something wrong with the original controller, but it's frustrating that these warnings don't actually cite what the actual issue is-- it would be great if that information could be made available? I don't know what the cause of my original issue is other than that the controller was maybe bad. So my question to the forum here: Does anybody know what would cause an issue like this, is this an issue with the SWAFANs specifically that other people have experienced, and would Thermaltake consider making the Fan Controller Warnings actually log what's triggering that popup? Also, can I plug the SWAFANs directly into my motherboard fan headers instead of using the controller? I value fans working more than I value clean cable management. If I could make sure this issue never happens again that would be preferred.
  4. I just installed 3 new Thermaltake Pure Plus 12 RGB TT Premium Edition 120mm fans and changed the settings in the software to beat Heartbeat and red. During bootup it is rainbow wave until Windows 11 launches the TT RGB Plus software and changes to the Red Heartbeat. While I am on the PC the fans will randomly revert back to rainbow wave and no amount of changes in the software will change the colors of the fans. I have to reboot for the fans to go back to Red Heartbeat. Is there a way to set the fans to a color and leave them that way without needing the software? Can the controller store a color so I don't need to be running the software? Why do the lights default back to rainbow color randomly and the software stops interacting until reboot? Is this a common issue with Thermaltake? The TT RGB Plus recognizes the controller it just stops making the lights change color often. My liquid cooling came with an option to install a remote to manually change the colors and it has no problem maintaining the color scheme.
  5. Thermaltake, please end your fight with Epic and Easy anti-cheat. All rgb software from any company has been deemed an attack vector for cheating in games. When I start a game that uses EAC it will automatically close down TT RGB Plus and then my CPU temps become high for my Floe Riing RGB 360 TT Premium Edition as they no longer get adequate cooling adjustment without the SW running. I am begging you to work this out with EPIC or I will be forced to skip Thermaltake on my next PC build. I really like you guys. I like your software better than Corsair, NZXT, and others. I realize that their SW is banned by EAC as well but this is going to drive me to software-less options and I think that is a step backward? Have you even begun a dialog with EPIC yet on how to work this out? Thank you for your consideration. Have a good day TT.
  6. I recently went nuts doing a near all TT build in regards to case, fans, PSU and CPU Cooling. It has been a rough couple of days getting this stuff to work. The best I had it was last night where I had everything being seen by the software and running as I liked with the eception of the two front Riing Trio 20 fans having three led's not winning to change colour like they are burnt in. I have stopped using the TT RGB Plus software for now and letting them cycle in the rainbow default and these couple of led's on each DO NOT CYCLE COLOURS STILL. When I booted up today the second fan controller is no longer being seen by the software nor os the PSU. I already downsized from three controllers after the third stopped being seen after one day now I am going through it alll over again. The software needs a complete overhaul. It is ugly and really doesnt work well. If I cant get this stuff working I'll be looking for a refund on EVERYTHING from Thermaltake directly as these are not working as they should. The PSU is connected directly to the motherboard as for some reason i it doesn't have a plug compatible to the fan controllers? How many USB 2.0 heads on the motherboard do you guys want to waste? I had to sacrifice not having USB 2.0 on my front case panel this is stupid.
  7. A while ago I was using TT RGB Plus 1.3.1 or 3.2 (not sure which) with no problems. I then updated my motherboard bios. I am using the ASUS ROG Zenith Extreme(original). I believe I upgraded from BIOS ver 1701 to 2001. In the change log for the bios on ASUS's website it says ROG ZENITH EXTREME BIOS 1901 Improve hardware monitoring compatibility with 3rd party applications. Fixed a boot issue when using a Quadro K6000 GPU. " Before running the USB BIOS Flashback tool, please rename the BIOS file (ZE.CAP) using BIOSRenamer.'' Ver 2001 would have the same improvements + more. Ever since updating, every version of TT RGB Plus from 1.2.8 (64 bit update) onward i have been getting a 0°C reading on TT RGB plus on my Threadripper system. Version 1.2.7 still works for me and I have been using that since, hoping a future update would help. This bios update also changed my other system monitoring software, in particular interest HWINFO64, which I believe TT RGB Plus uses a plugin to get temps from. HWINFO64 continued to work, however the reporting of ASUS MB values had changed title to asus wmi, along with other changes, like readouts being renamed, e.g EXT Tsensor1 changed to Tsensor 1 Temperature. There may have been more changes, I don't know. Im guessing a name change or something similar is the problem. Today I tried TT RGB Plus 1.3.7 because something caught my eye 2.Fixed AMD CPU temperature issue. Something different has happened. I got a temperature other than 0°C. 😀The problem is it is the Tctl temp and not the tdie temp.🙁 Which of course means ttrgb thinks my cpu temp is 65°C instead of it's actual 40°C, so my fans are going close to full speed now. At least they are cooling the system, 0°C put them on idle🤔 I'll add a couple pictures which are hopefully straight forward, basically just diferent TT RGB versions and what the plugin is reading and what the program is reading on my PC. CPU is generally around 40°C idle. I do now believe this problem is fixable but possibly only through a software update. I'm basically reaching out to any TTstaff that could possibly help. I know that a bios downgrade might work, but the new versions do have a few QOL improvements eg. mem stability etc. so would prefer not to. If anyone else has any ideas as to what else could be the cause please let me know. I have been thinking this will probably never be fixed but this new update has given me hope. Any help from anyone would be much appreciated. Thanks😀 EDIT: Sorry just found this thread :
  8. Hi, I have a system with 23 Riing trio radiator fans, but the TT RGB plus software can't read my system / processor temperature. The 6 controllers working good. 9. Hi all, I have the following set up: Software: TT RGB Plus V 1.3.2, F 3.0.1 Controller 1: (dip switch position 0000) Slot 1: 200mm Riing plus case fan Slot 2: 200mm Riing plus case fan Slot 3: 140mm Riing plus case fan Slot 4: 120mm Riing Trio rad fan Slot 5: 120mm Riing Trio rad fan Controller 2: (dip switch position 1000) Slot 1: 140mm Riing Trio rad fan Slot 2: 140mm Riing Trio rad fan Slot 3: 140mm Riing Trio rad fan Whenever I change a setting in one controller, it overwrites the other controller's slot with the same ID. Example: I set Controller 1 Slot 1 to wave. Click save. Controller 1 Slot 1 is wave, but so is Controller 2 Slot 1. So I go to Controller 2 Slot 1 to change it to static, and click save. Now Controller 2 Slot 1 is static, but so is Controller 1 Slot 1. It will do this for any slot 1-3. Obviously it doesn't do it for 4 or 5 because there is only a slot 4 and 5 on controller 1. There seems to be no way for me to have seperate settings for the 2 slots, but why else would I be able to have 2 controllers if there can only be 5 settings at a time? They're even different models of fans (and selected as such in the dropdown). All of them also have unique names. I have them both connected to the same USB header Y-cable that came packaged with the riing trio 3 pack. I have already: Uninstalled and re-installed the software. Did this before installing a new set of Riing Trio 140s. I also wiped the settings folder in AppRoaming. How do I fix this? Has this been seen before?
  10. For some reason, RGB plus wants to use a different audio output for movie/gaming modes instead of what I prefer to use for audio. I tried to disable other audio outputs through windows 10 audio control panel but still does not work.
  11. Hi, This is probably not something new, but I noticed that the TT RGB Plus app window size is very large. I remembered the first time I ran the app (around January 2018) it didn't go outside the screen size. I rarely change my fans settings therefore I haven't paid attention to it before, but today when I opened the app, it was huge and I am unable to resize the window, it just stuck at that large size. Also it does not respond to windows 10 automatic resize when you bumped the app to the edge of the screen to make it fit the screen size. So I had to drag it around to do some settings. Not that it's a big deal or that it effects the setting itself, just thought it would be nice if I can fit the window on my screen so that I can see everything at once. PS: I attached the screenshot of my desktop to show the size of the TT RGB Plus app window size. I spared some tiny spaces on the top and left size of the screen, even then the app window size still goes beyond the right and the bottom border of the screen.
  12. aio liquid cooling:Floe Riing RGB 360 TT Premium Edition cpu:AMD 1950X motherBoard:ROG Zenith Extreme who can send me a 1.2.7 compressed file? thanks
  13. So i spend $100+ on the Riing Plus RGB premium edition just to find out the software is a pain to use, no fan curve, no GPU temp and the modes are not drop down menus so you have to cycle through everything to find your favourite ones. But those are luxury options, WHICH I EXPECTED ON A PREMIUM PRODUCT, but it doesn't bother me that much. But every time my PC wake up from sleep, the RGB fans basically reset to their default lighting mode and becomes unresponsive to the software changes. WHAT. To make the software and RGB fans in sync again, you need to close to software and restart it. This step may sounds simple and it is, but it's just shouldn't be there for a premium product and it annoys the crap out of me. I searched the forum saw these posts: basically the admin says: yeah it's not our problem it's the hardware's limitation. LOL and one of the guy even shows the admin a way possibly and easily to implement a 'reboot' into the software and here i am 1 years later on V1.2.2 nothing changed. What A Joke. Anyway, if anyone else want to solve this problem, i solved it by taking the long route of using AHK and windows 10's task scheduler: 1. download AHK and create a AHK script with following in it: Sleep, 3000 Process, Close, TT RGB Plus.exe Sleep, 2000 Run C:\Program Files (x86)\Tt\TT RGB Plus\TT RGB Plus.exe Sleep, 15000 Process, Close, TT RGB Plus.exe 2. open Task Scheduler -> create basic task -> change trigger to "when i log on" -> start a program -> navigate to your AHK script -> Finish. 3. now find your task in the among the list, double click it, go to triggers, delete the existing ones, click new choose at log on for any user, uncheck all box except for first and last, change delay task to 5 seconds, click ok. 4. click new again, this time choose on workstation unlock for any user, and same check box and timer as previous one, click ok. 5. finally in the settings, the last drop down menu should be stop the existing instance. Now to software should automatically reboot after wake/sign in. Those are just the option worked for me, feel free to improvise as the options are pretty simple to understand. Now thermaltake please fix this problem on your software, is not that hard to implement a reboot sequence. Right now my solution is like i'm taking a crap and realise there are no toilet paper, so i have to get up and grab some from the living room and then wipe my but.
  14. Hi, Is there a way to fix a bug where once you execute the TT RGB Plus application, and the icon pops up in the taskbar and you hover your mouse over it, it then disappears? I'm not even sure that the App has fully loaded and/or has crashed during load. Anyone know of a resolution to this? I am using TT RGB Plus on a new PC rig, and it actually worked for the first 1-2 months or so, but I haven't been able to use it at all for the past 6 months or so. Not sure if it was an older version back then. Cheers!
  15. Hello, since updating to 1.2.5 yesterday, my PC freezes about 2 minutes after boot. Upon uninstalling the software I encountered no more freezes. I've tried reinstalling 1.2.4 but without success. It still freezes my PC. What I've also noticed: My PC will not turn off after I hit shutdown. My screens go black, but the fans are still running. I have to kill it by holding the power button. Has anyone got any ideas what is causing this? Thanks in advance!

  17. Good day friends! After installing TT RGB PLUS the computer behaves incorrectly. When you turn on the computer, downloading the TT RGB PLUS software takes a long time, then everything works fine, but after a while the computer automatically restarts. The PC is built on an AMD Ryzen 7 2700 processor. I see that there is a problem in the software, who has encountered this problem in the operation of the software and how to treat it? Thank.
  18. I installed the app yesterday. Two hours ago, I launched my PC and after I opened Windows, the Update launcher of TT RGB Plus was open but I have a power cut. So, I relaunched my PC and TT RGB Plus crash anytime now. I uninstalled and re installed the app but nothing can fix this issue. Can you help me ?
  19. Hi there. Running a Tt Floe Riing Plus Premium 360 AIO. The software when it first boots up is just a black screen and is unresponsive. After a couple of minutes it may work and the lights do their thing. After a while (usually playing a game) tho the lights will stop, and my PC will lock up requiring a hard reset. It is definitely the software causing this issue. Is there a link to a older version of the software (it used to be fine), or just a general fix for this? (I have uninstalled, reinstalled, deleted %appdata% etc). Running on a B450/Ryzen 5 system if this helps.
  20. When i install the TT RGB Plus software i get a error about C++ and say it can not install this version because i have a newer version already installed. It try to install C++ 2015 Redistributable (X86) and i have a C++ 2017 Redistributable (X86) already installed. I click the button for starting the program and it do nothing. If i want to run the RGB plus software, i have to install again, get the error again and when i finish the installation setup the program start. It also remember what i do in program before so it not install over an previous version.
