Tte Martin got a reaction from ThermalMike in Project "Black Tornado": Cooling over silence?
It can only be a matter of days, we've received stock in Germany already and Alternate listed it too.

Tte Martin reacted to Chiobe in Project "Black Tornado": Cooling over silence?
As you can tell from the titel, this will be a black themed water cooling build, where noice is not dealt with (in terms of parts selected).

Tte Martin got a reaction from ThermalMike in Core X Radiator max thickness
The X9 has about 51mm clearance to the top ODD, 99mm to the second ODD and 142mm to the third ODD. With a 102mm thick setup, you'd end up with only one usable ODD (assuming it longer than 360mm).
What bottom bay to you mean? The bottom ODD bay or the other HDD bays at the bottom of the case?
-
Tte Martin got a reaction from Mattmax in Core X Radiator max thickness
Limitations for the radiator thickness at the top of the case are 48mm with all ODD cages in. With the top ODD cage taken out, it is 92 mm (you can take out the second and the third too, of course). The rest is only limited by your hardware.

If you want me to measure the X9 for you, I can do that. Got a ruler right here

A personal review of my quality case back from 2013. And my first brand case. I know the pc components aren't exactly the best, but that is what I have for now.

Tte Martin got a reaction from DJMACRAE in insane cases and a great CES 2015
Thanks for the feedback. It's great to read that the new direction is well perceived by our users.
The Core X2 will be available in the UK at SCAN Computers by the end of January, by the way

Tte Martin got a reaction from Guest in Core X Series
Might be worth mentioning that the X9 can fit up to 23 case fans, if you so desire

Tte Martin reacted to Dabeavis in CHALLENGER Prime Owners Club
Just got mine in the mail today, won't be putting it to that much use until I get a PC built since my laptop tends to have only one vacant USB port (ordered a USB hub anyway). The Talon's still on back-order, not that I really need it yet since the Logitech m510 will suffice for now.

Tte Martin reacted to LetsGetIt1220 in Core V51 Owner's Club
1) The LED are not included so you may choose any colour you like.
2) Yes, you have up to 420mm of room for fan and radiator configurations in the top.
3) The Core V51 comes with 3x fans as standard, 2x 120mm front intake and 1x rear 120mm exhaust
(Please note I don't work for Thermaltake, just have one of the cases and like to help out)

Tte Martin reacted to dO_ob in Chassi recommendation
I do love the Strom Scout 2 adv's appearance apart from the internal chassis being quite old and only 7 expansion slots, and if you are going to put a radiator in it you can only choose 120mm which is quite a shame, i would suggest the Core V51 or Core V41 its packed with so much radiator mounting variations and you can take all the drive bays out which will help with dual + card setups

Core V51 is a great case. Absolutely everything I could want.

Tte Martin reacted to marcnaz in Core V71 Owner's Club
Gday,
Just thought i'd share what i ended up doing.
Worked out pretty good. Easily dropped max. gpu temp. by a good 10-15C (especially the top one - now both cards are within 3C of each other at 100% load). And case is 20C cooler than my old 650d.
With the fan on the side don't really need any lighting IMO.

I think I saw you last weekend at the Insomnia Gaming Festival when you were overlooking that overclocked Core V1 system ... ?
I'm pretty sure there are some photos of that too: https://www.flickr.com/photos/mpuk/sets/72157649438060132/

Tte Martin reacted to LetsGetIt1220 in Van's Building a PC!
I have not used my V51 yet but I will be building my X99 test bench into it something this week. Will be using the Water 3.0 ultimate for cooling as unfortunately I may be required to swap out motherboards at some point so can't go full out LCS. Just need to sort out a few more fans for it in due time and it will be looking real nice
