ThermalMike reacted to RE Spartan in Project FMT
I want to share a quick project I am doing for PDXLAN which is about 3 weeks away as I write this. The project is in a Nanoxia Coolforce case and will feature parts from Thermaltake, Zadak511, Swiftech, Primochill, and others. I started the project about a month ago and have been working on it as I get time after work and on the weekends.
So, first lets take a look at the case..
Now lets trim the fat and see what is left..
ya, not much left lol..but I can easily attach panels to this..so..I started making panels

Thinking of going for "The Case 900" with the MSI gaming M7 motherboard, Hard Tubing, 2 Thermaltake d5 pump reservoir combos, my gtx 1080 with a custom LED backplate of some style to represent The University Of Alabama. A black Supremacy EVO waterblock. Still Gonna use hard tubing but thinking of going with a grey and red coolant color scheme.

ThermalMike reacted to RRRoth in Floe Triple Riing RGB 360 TT Premium Edition locks up Intel i7 z97
fixed it by manually adding the software to my Windows startup folder. Also the default path the installer uses doesn't work for me. I installed the software in C:\tt\... which made it work. I'm using Windows 8.1. Barring the hassle that I went through to get this thing to work (rma because the lights didn't work, software couldn't see hardware, and this latest fiasco with the software locking up my system )- I do like the cooler much better than the Corsair unit it replaced. My system is at least 15c cooler then the Corsair AIO was giving me. The lesson learned from all this? I'm gonna build my own cooling system next time. ;^) -

Thanks Mike. I look forward to seeing the videos for the new UI. I think my experience may be more to do with not finding up to date instructions. So I look forward to the videos when you get r a chance to do them.

Guys, I can’t believe it!
12/28 my new riser cable arrived without any mail from Tt. Now my pc is booting and works, but after 5 minutes in game still crash. So I decided to wrap the riser with alluminium and now it’s working perfectly.
My gpu connected directly to Mobo go to 120 FPS, with riser go to 60. But I’m very excited anyway

ThermalMike got a reaction from Nikoline in Do I need an upgrade kit???
Hi,
I do not have a digital copy of the manual on me, but it is in there if you maybe kept the box?
The screws have threads on both sides, one side shorter than the other and the shorter side screw thread is bigger.
You just screw the short end into the MB side then drop on the block, use the white washers and then the thrumb screws to secure it down.
If you need further help, I will try to dig one up or take a picture of one here.

ThermalMike reacted to JohnJOhn in **ATTN Users with Thermaltake Riser Cables**
I bought the Core P5 case and the riser cable was not working. I emailed Tt and they responded via email within three days asking for documentation that I actually purchased the case. Sent it to them. Within 7 days of the first email I now have a new cable. The day prior to it coming in the mail I received a phone call where they told me to expect it the next day. I actually haven't tested the new cable yet as I just got it today and I have been busy but I have to give Tt an A+ for customer support. Im astounded that they got me a new cable this quickly. When they called they just asked that I return the old cable to them after I check the new one. I will do so within the next couple days after I test the new cable. My faith in investing in further Tt products has increased because of the quick response time and support. Thanks. Very happy.
Also- I am in Thailand right now but used the US email address listed when I sent the original email.

ThermalMike got a reaction from Nikoline in Pacific PR22-D5 Plus
Hi,
With the Dip switch, you should not have to make any changes if you are running 1 controller, as shown in the picture, that is already set for controller #1.
It only matters when you have more than 1 controller, you can set the controller to any number really, just cannot set 2 controller to the same is all.

ThermalMike reacted to nukeblast in **ATTN Users with Thermaltake Riser Cables**
Greetings. I purchased a P3 back in October, and my able did not work from the start so after trying to install my gpu with the extender and failing i gave up and installed it normally. Then i discovered a youtube video about this case and the creator talked about this post in this forum, so i emailed info@thermaltake.com (Romania, EU) also made a ticket on the EU support page. Then nothing for about 7 days, then i got a call from UPS to inform me that i have a package. Thermaltake sent a new riser cable, the 20 cm unbent one, and it finally works great with the gpu mounted with the riser cable. Thank you.

ThermalMike reacted to Tt Leo in Thermaltake View 71 RGB Fans go dark after while
Hi
would you provide your MB model? we think it's more like energy saving setting.
if you restart the computer again, would the brightness maintain at first 5 mins?
we suggest you to try another USB pin head on the MB.
if you still have problems, please contact us at FAE@thermaltake.com
thank you!

ThermalMike got a reaction from Nikoline in Pacific PR22-D5 Plus
Hi,
The PR22-D5 Plus requires 1 molex for power to the pump. For the lighting, it will require the controller supplied to also be connected with also requires 1 molex.
The controller also offers 5 ports, so you have 4 spots open if you want to add in fans or other Plus products to avoid extra controllers.

ThermalMike got a reaction from p40whk in Question about motherboard tray Core P5/P7
Hello,
Yes, the tray is designed for vertical mounting. The cable management should not be bad from what I have seen in several builds from TT and modders around.
Best feature to this is the GPU's will now be vertical, takes stress off the PCI-E slot and no GPU sag. (you dont have to do it, it is just optional)
For any visuals, just see our website on it:

ThermalMike reacted to Shpattov in RGB Fittings and software control
Hi! Yesterday I've received two boxes of fittings and I've made some experiments:
-First of all, I've connected 12 fittings on a single controller in groups of 6. No lighting reduction, no unstability, so all fine.
-Second, as I've precedently thought, I wanted to try to use a 4 pin fan pwm cable to extend the lenght of the cable and it worked just fine. So I will just find the longest pwn extension cable in the market, I'll buy 2 of them and then I'll use to bring the controller in first position where I meant to put it.
Now missing TT 16mm tubing and TT Pacific W4 Plus, hopefully already on their way to me :P!
