ThermalMike reacted to kienast in Help Me ThermalTeam! I cant control the fan speeds via my TT Sync
Hello Mike ,
I filled up the loop today ------ > all good , no leak and the ring fans are working .
Please note at the moment my mobo is not connected , I am just usng the 24 pins bridge on the motherboard cable to power up the loop and the fans .
I have also connected the PR22 reservoir cable into the TT sync controller ----------- > no luck , the resevoir does not illuminate .
Is this enough to get the reservoir powered up ? or do I also need the extra power coming from the mobo ?
thanks
Da

Before you do anything just go over your connections. Make sure power connector is seated all the way. Check usb connection or if you have a microusb cable you can try usning it from the back of your pc to the controller to test.
do the fan look like they are spinning slow or at a decent speed.
Can you post a pic of how you have it hooked up and a pic of the power cable that came with it.

Yes it will. As long as your fans are Riing plus.

ThermalMike got a reaction from InfiniteDefined in Help Me ThermalTeam! I cant control the fan speeds via my TT Sync
Hi,
When using the TT SYNC controller, for the fans connected, make sure you have the PWM cable that connects from the controller to an available motherboard PWM header. Then, for any fan curve settings, you just need to set up in the bios.
You should only need 1 cable plugged into the controller to control all the fans. Hope this is the trick, let us know if you need any further assistance.

ThermalMike got a reaction from Chrizzydizz in **ATTN Users with Thermaltake Riser Cables**
Hi Christian,
First off, I would highly suggest to take off your personal information from this form including your email and address that I see in your post!
Now for the cable part, who did you contact from Thermaltake for help?
Did you go to a form on our website to fill out?
Did you email us directly? What email did you use?
Hard to track down as I am in the USA here, but happy to get your message forwarded over to assist.

ThermalMike reacted to Axiomatic in TT RGB Plus false errors?
You apparently fixed this in the latest update. I just loaded your latest (I had been using an older one that did not have the original error.) You have hashed the PW now. Thank you.

ThermalMike reacted to Tack in Riing software won't open
MMm You might want to try the latest software as the version you are using is quite old. Your running v1.0.2 the link below is for v2.1.5 its the latest version I could find. Not completely familiar with the non-plus riing fans.

ThermalMike reacted to Tack in Level 20 XT
That is correct. You will have only a spot for 2 x 120mm on the bottom when all the hdds are in use.

ThermalMike reacted to Tack in Level 20 XT
The sides have a very small gap at the top and bottom that is not really useful .Yes mounting them in that fashion is more meant for radiators as it will serve no benefit for any other use then that. But the bottom of the case is going to be the source of most of your air.
Here is a pic of the bottom that I snapped when I was doing my build
Here is a pic of the gap on the side using a penny

ThermalMike reacted to Zhodd in TT RGB Plus - worked for week - now Error H_0x0001
Hi Mike - I am going to reach out to support. After a power cycle both hubs were working for about a week and today I just came into one not working again. It has 5 fans attached - all "frozen" - 2 in mid RGB wave, 1 with 1 LED light and 2 completely off. Bizarre stuff

ThermalMike reacted to ispot in Core W100
Since I did not find any threads/posts for the Core W100, I'm starting one. I'm a happy owner of tt Core W100, with the pedestal Core P100.
Attached is a picture of my built, which is not finished. I'm adding liquid cooling as soon as I receive my new EVGA RTX2080ti.

ThermalMike reacted to Tack in TT RGB Plus Software error since last update
What gpu are you running
Have you tried uninstalling it and deleting the tt folder at C:\Users\*your username*\AppData\Roaming\Tt
if you want to save any profiles you have copy the riing plus folder in that directory and replace it after you test the new install
as for the standby not to sure about that never really use standby anymore so have not done no testing with it

ThermalMike reacted to Tack in Turning off Controller Warning Messages possible?
yes there is
To make the program start up just on taskbar right click the TT rgb icon on the taskbar tray
you will see a option that says "Run TT RGB Plus Program when Windows starts"
It has a box next to it click it.
If the box is solid like below it will open on your desktop at startup
If the box is hollow like below it will start on the taskbar tray.

ThermalMike reacted to Tack in Turning off Controller Warning Messages possible?
ahhhh you need to disable the ones that are not in use by clicking the green circle line thing
once you have clicked that the green circle will turn red and be disabled and the software will no longer look for a fan/plus product on that port

ThermalMike got a reaction from Tack in Windows DPS G App and TT RGB Plus Software
Hi,
Next next version of the TT RGB Software should resolve the HDD pings, we are testing beta already on this.
I have seen you be very concerned about this, so look forward to your feedback.
Schedule should be ready by the end of this month. 1.2.3

ThermalMike reacted to Tack in Thermaltake PR22 D5 Plus Issue
The 9 pin cable with the micro usbs on the end should go to your usb header
how ever you only having one header on the motherboard it is most likely in use.
Your best bet will be to get a internal usb hub if that is the case
here are 2 that are currently on the market
https://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-Internal-Outputs-External-PS-ACC-IU2H00R-1/dp/B07FLY6NSX
https://www.amazon.com/Nzxt-Internal-Controller-Black-AC-IUSBH-M1/dp/B01IFGFTJ2
personally I have the Nzxt for my riing plus controllers as Thermaltakes hub was not out at the time.

ThermalMike reacted to Alvin A in TT RGB PLUS Ecosystem Overview (Hardware/Software)
Good Day, Thermaltake and Thermal Mike. Alvin here from Philippines. I just bought a 3 Fan Pack. Ring Plus Fan TT Premium, and i just love your fans . I love how your Software controls each LED on it and its configs and planning to buy Lumi plus soon.
I have 1 suggestion, this maybe complex but mybe possible in the future. Since your TT Sync controller is synced to Aura, RGB Fusion , Mystic Light ONLY. I suggest it will be possible to connect together with the RGB Plus Software. Ifigured out some logic on how. The NEW TT Sync controller can add the old controllers way of connecting to the USB header for the RGB Plus Software to communicate, BUT they must not function at the same time. In your software you might have a switch like "ON, OFF" instead read as "Motherboard control or TT Plus Control" and takes effect on restart so that motherboard can detect if it has access to it or not.
Thanks,
PS: I love how your software works but. still AURA SYNC is life. and i like how all the RGB items i have to sync together.
